Polyester film and method for producing the same

A polyester film and a method for producing the same are provided. The polyester film includes a heat resistant layer. The heat resistant layer includes a high temperature resistant resin material and a polyester resin material. The high temperature resistant resin material and the polyester resin material are melted and kneaded with each other via a twin screw granulator. The twin-screw granulator has a twin-screw temperature between 250° C. and 320° C., and the twin-screw granulator has a twin-screw rotation speed between 300 rpm and 800 rpm, so that the high temperature resistant resin material is dispersed in the polyester resin material with a particle size of between 50 nm and 200 nm.

Also disclosed are structures containing a plurality of decellularized matrix microspheres incorporating a first polymer and a donor tissue; and a second polymer, wherein the decellularized matrix microspheres and the second polymer are in the form of a filament. Methods of treating a tissue injury employing the matrix microspheres and structures described as well as their methods of manufacture are also provided.

The present invention relates to a sinter powder (SP) comprising at least one semicrystalline terephthalate polyester (A), at least one amorphous terephthalate polyester (B) and at least one phosphinic salt (C). The present invention further relates to a method of producing a shaped body by sintering the sinter powder (SP) or by an FFF (fused filament fabrication) method, to a shaped body obtainable by the method of the invention, and to the use of a phosphinic salt in a sinter powder (SP) for broadening the sintering window (W.sub.SP) of the sinter powder (SP).

A thermoformable biaxially oriented coextruded polyester film comprising a copolyester base layer B, a first polyester outer layer A1 and a second polyester outer layer A2, wherein said outer layers are disposed on opposite surfaces of said base layer, and wherein: (i) said base layer B comprises a copolyester derived from terephthalic acid (TA) and a second aromatic dicarboxylic acid and one or more diol(s), wherein said second aromatic dicarboxylic acid is present in the copolyester in an amount of from about to 5 about 20 mol % of the acid fraction of the copolyester; (ii) the polyester of each of said outer layers A1 and A2 is selected from polyethylene terephthalate (PET); and (iii) the thickness of the base layer constitutes at least 90% of the total thickness of the coextruded multi-layer polyester film.

A method of the selection, modification of existing, and/or creation of polyester based polymer materials, which provide improved response to the application of local shear and/or extensional deformation inside the polyester based polymer melt in injection stretch blow molding, is disclosed. A method for manufacturing a polymer article is also provided including injecting a molten polyester based polymer in a preform mold for converting it in a preform while applying shear and/or extensional deformation on the polyester based polymer melt. Applying shear and/or extensional deformation on the polyester based polymer melt includes modifying the flow path of the molten polymer as a function of local pressure profile over at least part of the flow path. The local pressure profile is determined as a function of optimized response of the polyester based polymer melt to the applied local shear and/or extensional deformation over at least said part of the flow path.

Micrograft for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms and method for use

A device for occluding a vasculature of a patient including a micrograft having an absorbent polymeric structure with a lumen of transporting blood. The micrograft has a series of peaks and valleys formed by crimping. Biaxially stretched polyester film and method for producing the same

A biaxially stretched polyester film and a method for producing the same are provided. The biaxially stretched polyester film includes a polyester resin base layer and a matte layer. The polyester resin base layer includes: (1) 50 to 95 wt % of a polyester resin base material, and an intrinsic viscosity of the polyester resin base material being between 0.5 and 0.8 dL/g; and (2) 0.01 to 5 wt % of a high viscosity polyester resin material, and an intrinsic viscosity of the high viscosity polyester resin material being between 0.9 and 1.1 dL/g. The matte layer includes: (1) 50 to 95 wt % of a polyester resin matrix material, and an intrinsic viscosity of the polyester resin matrix material being between 0.5 and 0.8 dL/g; and (2) 0.3 to 40 wt % of a plurality of filler particles, and the filler particles having an average particle size of between 0.15 μm and 10 μm.
