Manufacturing method of molded article, molded article, band and timepiece
A molded article includes a primary molded article which is made of a soft material and includes an exposed section and an embedded section, and a secondary molded article in which the embedded section of the primary molded article is embedded with the exposed section being exposed and which has shoulder sections that laterally project outside an outer periphery of the primary molded article. The upper surface portions of the shoulder sections of the secondary molded article on the exposed section side coincide with boundary portions between an outer peripheral surface of the exposed section and an outer peripheral surface of the embedded section in the primary molded article.
Method and apparatus for producing endless abrasive articles and a produced abrasive article
A method for producing endless abrasive articles (100) includes providing a mandrel coil (200), which comprises a first complete turn (B0.sub.A) formed of an endless mandrel belt (B0), feeding the endless mandrel belt (B0) to an input end (IN0) of the mandrel coil (200) and unwinding the mandrel belt (B0) from an output end (OUT0) of the mandrel coil (200) so as to move the surface of the first complete turn (B0.sub.A) of the mandrel coil (200), forming a laminated sleeve (SLEEVE1) by feeding a first strip (S1) on the moving surface of the first complete turn (B0.sub.A) of the mandrel coil (200), and forming an endless abrasive article (100) by cutting the laminated sleeve (SLEEVE1).
Extruded reinforced industrial belt with embedded layer
The present disclosure relates to an extruded industrial fabric. A method of manufacture of the industrial fabric is crosshead extruding a first layer polymeric matrix material with linear components. The linear components crosshead extruded with the polymeric matrix material may be continuous systems oriented in the machine direction. A nonwoven layer of material is provided on a surface of the first layer of polymeric matrix material and a second layer of polymeric matrix material is extruded onto the nonwoven layer of material. The first layer of polymeric matrix material at least partially encompasses the linear components. A faceside of the industrial fabric may be smooth or may include a texture or pattern. A backside may be smooth (planar), have a variable roughness, or include needled fibers that are incorporated into the structure of the fabric.
