METHOD FOR PRODUCING HANGERS AND SIMILAR DEVICES FOR CLOTHING SUPPORT, COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE CONCAVE AREA, STARTING FROM A FLAT LAYER OF PAPER MATERIAL
It is a method (1) for producing hangers and similar devices for clothing, comprising at least one concave area, starting from a flat layer of paper material, that provides for the following steps: a) wetting said flat layer of paper material so as to increase the humidity percentage with respect to the standard humidity percentage at room temperature; b) leaving said layer of paper material to rest for a predetermined period of time so that said humidity percentage is uniformly distributed throughout the entire thickness of said flat layer of paper material; c) cutting said flat layer of paper material so as to define an appropriate shape for the realization of said hanger; d) carrying out a knurling operation on at least one portion of said cut flat layer of paper material in which said at least one concave area will be realized; e) forming said cut flat layer of paper material by means of the introduction of said cut flat layer of paper material between a mould and a counter-mould and subsequently through pressing; f) carrying out a stabilisation operation of said hanger, reducing the humidity percentage thereof.
COMPOSTABLE CUTLERY
Compostable cutlery utensils made by forming a pliable composite sheet having an internal substrate of overlaying food-grade paper sheets of collective number and thickness suitable for making a required item of cutlery, the internal paper sheets each being coated with a settable food-grade adhesive substance, such as by being dipped into a bath of liquid glue, applying an outer covering of food-grade paper to each major external side of the substrate to form a pliable composite sheet, thereafter forming the shape of the utensil, such as by the use of a two-part mould in the collective shape and size of the required utensil, removing, such as by cutting, the formed utensil from the composite sheet before the adhesive has set, and thereafter allowing or causing the adhesive substance to set to thereby produce a rigid compostable cutlery utensil.
Method for Creating a Decorative Item
A method creates a decorative item to be secured to a host item, such as a gift, begins with selecting a piece of card stock that extends through only two dimensions. The method then includes the step of manipulating the piece of card stock to create a manipulated piece of card stock extending through three dimensions. The three-dimensionally manipulated piece of card stock is then secured to a host item or gift packaging as decorative alternative to a ribbon and/or a bow.
Flexible dunnage handler
A dunnage accumulator includes a first holding portion (502) and a second holding portion (504) configured and associated with the first holding portion to define a dunnage accumulation space therebetween and for receiving and removably retaining dunnage from a dunnage machine (17) in the accumulation space, wherein at least a portion of the second holding portion is flexible such that flexing thereof varies the accumulation space to accommodate a varying amount of dunnage held therein.
Device and method for processing flat products
The device, which serves for processing flat products, particularly separated sheets of paper, includes a device body that is holding a tool, with which the flat products can be processed. The inventive device further includes a tool bearing that is connected to the device body and that includes at least one bearing drive unit, a control unit controlling the bearing drive unit, a tool drive unit and a modular tool unit that includes said tool and that can be actuated by the tool drive unit when it is coupled to the tool drive unit, wherein the modular tool unit is releasably held by the tool bearing and is movable by the bearing drive unit towards the tool drive unit under the control of the control unit until it is coupled with the tool drive unit.

Dunnage conversion system and method with stock supply alignment
A dunnage-producing system includes a dunnage conversion machine for converting a stock material into a relatively less dense dunnage product, a supply of stock material, and a guide element. The conversion machine is rotatable about a substantially vertical axis. The supply of stock material includes a support for the stock material that is movable relative to the conversion machine, such as for replenishing the stock material. The guide element is rotatable with the conversion machine to maintain a consistent position relative to the conversion machine, thereby consistently positioning the support relative to the conversion machine to avoid tearing or jamming problems associated with an improperly aligned supply of sheet stock material.
