PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF A DENTAL RESTORATION
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a dental restoration, in which an oxide ceramic material is (a) subjected to at least one heat treatment, and (b) cooled, wherein the cooling comprises (b1) a first cooling step with the cooling rate T1 and (b2) a second cooling step with the cooling rate T2 and wherein the absolute value of the cooling rate T2 is less than the absolute value of the cooling rate T1.

An atomization component includes: a matrix; and a heating film. The matrix includes an atomization surface. An atomization component includes: a matrix; and a heating film. The matrix includes an atomization surface. A dielectric composition that contains a first complex oxide represented by (Bi.sub.xNa.sub.1−x)TiO.sub.3—CaTiO.sub.3 and having a perovskite structure as a main component; and at least one second complex oxide having a perovskite structure selected from the group consisting of BaZrO.sub.3, SrZrO.sub.3, CaZrO.sub.3, NaNbO.sub.3, and NaTaO.sub.3 as an auxiliary component. A tolerance factor t when the at least one second complex oxide is BaZrO.sub.3, NaNbO.sub.3, or NaTaO.sub.3 is 0.9016≤t≤0.9035, a tolerance factor t when the at least one second complex oxide is SrZrO.sub.3 is 0.9005≤t≤0.9025, and a tolerance factor t when the at least one second complex oxide is CaZrO.sub.3 is 0.9000 t<0.9020.

An approach to seeker windows for aircraft comprises a window layer comprising an IR transparent material, the window layer comprising a first side and a second side substantially opposite the first side; and a heating layer on the first side or the second side of the window layer, the heating layer configured to apply a heating profile to the window layer to reduce thermal shock imparted to the window layer when the seeker window is exposed to hypersonic flight conditions.

A fiber-reinforced component for use in a gas turbine engine includes a first braided fiber sleeve forming a cooling channel and a plurality of fiber plies enclosing the first braided fiber sleeve, with the plurality of fiber plies forming first and second walls separated by the first braided fiber sleeve. The fiber-reinforced component further includes a matrix material between fibers of the braided fiber sleeve and the plurality of fiber plies.
Multilayer electronic component and method for manufacturing multilayer electronic component
A multilayer electronic component includes a multilayer body including dielectric layers and inner electrode layers, the multilayer body including an electrode facing portion in which the inner electrode layers are laminated to face each other with the dielectric layers interposed therebetween. The multilayer body has a thickness of at least about 1.5 mm in a lamination direction, a length of at least about 3.0 mm, and a width of at least about 1.5 mm. Each of the dielectric layers includes Ba, Ti, and Cl. A Cl concentration C.sub.1 in the entire electrode facing portion satisfies about 10 wtppm<C.sub.1<about 50 wtppm. On an imaginary central axis line, a Cl concentration C.sub.2 in a central portion of the electrode facing portion and a Cl concentration C.sub.3 in both end portions of the electrode facing portion satisfy about 0.5C.sub.2≤C.sub.3<C.sub.2.
MULTILAYER BODY AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENT FORMED OF SAME
A laminate body including a base material and a flat silicone sealing layer adhered thereto, generally without any voids, is provided. Also provided is a curable hot melt silicone composition layer with a particular curable hot melt silicone composition, providing a laminate body that does not readily cause stress on a substrate after the curable hot melt silicone composition is cured. A laminate body comprises a base material, and a curable hot melt silicone composition layer in contact with the base material. The curable hot melt silicone composition includes an organopolysiloxane resin containing siloxane units selected from a group containing T units or Q units making up at least 20 mol % or more of all siloxane units. The curable hot melt silicone composition generally has a melt viscosity as measured using a flow tester at a pressure of 2.5 MPa and at 100° C. of 5,000 Pa.Math.s or less.
