The bottom layer of the bonded fabric has an adhesive material and protective peel on it for securing the device to a piece of furniture or other surfaces. Further, different varieties of fasteners may be integrated onto the bonded fabric, so as to enable fastening of different décor items to the bonded fabric. Additionally, the bonded fabric may be made into larger shapes and configurations to cover bigger furniture.

In some embodiments the intermediate layer has a thickness of at least 30 micrometers. In some embodiments the infrared-reflective intermediate layer includes a reflective pigment dispersed in a matrix of one of the first thermoplastic material or the second thermoplastic material.
