Provided is an electrophotographic belt having an endless shape including a base layer, wherein the base layer includes a polyimide film containing polyimide serving as a binder resin and a carbon nanotube, wherein the polyimide has an imidization ratio of 80% or more, wherein the carbon nanotube has at least one resin selected from the group consisting of: polyphenylsulfone; polysulfone; and polyethersulfone present on at least part of a surface thereof. The base layer has a tensile strength of 200 MPa or more in each of a peripheral direction thereof and a direction perpendicular to the peripheral direction.

At least one of the first and second yarn systems includes a low melt temperature adhesive that is heat activated and binds the first and second yarn systems together. The nonwoven base fabric material has an MD length and CD width and is arranged in two superimposed layers joined by the MD oriented yarns at CD oriented fold regions at each of two opposing ends thereof.

A wrappable protective sleeve for providing protection to at least one elongate member contained therein and methods of construction and use thereof are provided. The sleeve includes a flexible textile wall having opposite inner and outer faces bounded by opposite edges and opposite ends. The opposite edges extend generally parallel to one another between the opposite ends. A pair of adhesive layers is bonded to the inner face, with each of the adhesive layers being spaced from one another. The adhesive layers extend between the opposite ends adjacent the opposite edges. Further, a release paper is releasably adhered to the pair of adhesive layers for subsequent removal and use of the sleeve.

A ratio (E″(1)/E″(2)) is 0.60 to 1.00, where E″(1) is an average value of loss elastic moduli E″ of the surface layer in a direction orthogonal to a circumferential direction of the fixing member measured at a frequency of 10 Hz at 100 to 150° C., and E″(2) is an average value of loss elastic moduli E″ of the surface layer in a direction orthogonal to the circumferential direction of the fixing member measured at a frequency of 10 Hz at 100 to 150° C. after removal of the perfluoropolyether contained in the pore.

A frictional power transmission belt includes a tension layer forming a belt back surface, a compression rubber layer to be in contact with a pulley and frictionally engaged with the pulley, and a tension member embedded between the tension layer and the compression rubber layer along a belt length direction. The compression rubber layer has a surface to be in contact with the pulley. At least a part of the surface is coated with a fiber layer via a fiber/resin mixture layer. The fiber/resin mixture layer contains a resin component and heat-resistant fibers having a softening point or a melting point higher than a vulcanization temperature of a rubber forming the compression rubber layer. The fiber layer contains hydrophilic heat-resistant fibers having a softening point or a melting point higher than the vulcanization temperature and does not contain a resin component.
