Label sticker

A label sticker includes a release layer strip, an attachment layer strip and a label layer strip. The attachment layer strip is made of an artificial dressing material and its lower surface is coated with or adhered to a first glue layer. The lower surface of the attachment layer strip is attached to the upper surface of the release layer strip through the first glue layer. The label layer strip is made of a waterproof material and its lower surface is coated with or adhered to a second glue layer. The lower surface of the label layer strip is attached to the upper surface of the attachment layer strip through the second glue layer. The label sticker, to be adhered to the human skin to serve identification purposes, can be manufactured by mass production but is unlikely to be wetted and smeared.

A polyolefin-based film comprising at least one layer permitting printing as a result of laser irradiation; wherein not less than 100 ppm but not greater than 3000 ppm of pigment permitting printing as a result of laser irradiation is present in all layers of the film; haze thereof is not less than 1% but not greater than 30%; and unevenness in thickness thereof in either a machine direction or a transverse direction is not less than 0.1% but not greater than 25%. An object is to provide a film capable of being printed in distinct fashion by a laser, that excels with respect to unevenness in thickness, and that is of high transparency, and at the same time provide packaging which employs such film and on which printing has been directly carried out.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FOOD INDICATOR

The present application relates to a method for manufacturing an indicator for food that can visually check the quality change in food in a package state, an indicator for food manufactured therefrom, and a method for checking the storage status of food using the same. The manufacturing method of an indicator for food of the present application includes bonding a first film, on which an indicator layer including a pH-sensitive indicator is formed on one surface thereof, and a second film, on which an adhesive layer is formed on one surface thereof, so that the indicator layer of the first film and the adhesive layer of the second film can face each other.

Shrink film

Oriented, multilayer shrink films, either clear or opaque, comprise a core layer and at least one skin layer. The core layer has a thickness greater than the thickness of the at least one skin layer. The at least one skin layer comprises at least one cyclic-olefin copolymer as the predominant component thereof. The core layer comprises a blend of a polyolefin polymer and a polybutene-1 copolymer with ethylene, the butene-1 constituting over 75% by weight of the polybutene-1 copolymer. The film has a shrinkage of at least 20% in at least one of the machine and transverse directions of formation when said film is heated to a temperature of between 80 and 100° C. Optionally the films can include a propylene-based elastomer, a styrenic based block copolymer elastomer, reclaim including the components of the film, or combinations thereof.

A method produces labels having multiple sheets adhesively interconnected in a first surface area region of the basic label and lying loosely on top of each other in a second surface area region. After imprinting a carrier web, including imprinting an anti-adhesion layer in first surface area regions and a frame region, material webs are applied and imprinted to produce lowermost label sheets. An anti-adhesion layer is imprinted onto the last material web in third surface area regions lying between the first and/or second surface area regions and the frame region. After punching the material web between the third surface area regions and the first and/or second surface area regions, an outermost material web is applied and imprinted. By: punching a frame through all material webs, a waste matrix is severed, simultaneously forming an outermost sheet section in each third surface area region projecting laterally beyond the lowermost label sheets.

PRESSURE-SENSITIVE LABEL

A pressure sensitive label and method for preparing same, the pressure sensitive label comprising: (a) a support portion, the support portion including at least a carrier layer; and (b) a transfer portion over the support portion for transfer of the transfer portion to an article upon application of pressure while the transfer portion is in contact with the article. The transfer portion may include at least (i) a printable layer in contacting relationship with the carrier layer, and (ii) an ink layer positioned such that the printable layer is between the carrier layer and the ink layer.
