SHEET-TYPE BEAUTY PACK
The present invention provides a sheet-type beauty pack having a convenient use and expected to provide moisture and nutrients to the skin of the face and the like, has a sufficient far infrared ray effect due to a natural material containing minerals, removes impurities, and has a wrinkle alleviation effect due to skin lifting, by applying a beauty pack, which uses a cosmetic material of a natural material containing minerals, in a paste state to a sheet such as nonwoven fabric. The sheet-type beauty pack comprises: a first release paper; a nonwoven fabric of which one surface is laminated with the first release paper and of which the other surface is coated with a cosmetic material in the paste state; and a second release paper laminated on the other surface, coated with the cosmetic material, of the nonwoven fabric.
Impregnated cloth
A knitted spacer fabric has a tightly knitted bottom layer, a more loosely knitted upper layer and linking fibres extending across the space between the lower and upper faces. Settable material, e.g. cement, is introduced into the space between the upper and lower faces and can be caused to set by the addition of a liquid, e.g. water. Until set, the fabric is flexible and can be shaped but after the material in space has set, the fabric is rigid and can be used as a structural element in a wide range of situations. The bottom layer has an extension that extends beyond the upper face and is connected to the upper face by elastic connecting fibres that draw the extension towards the other face, thereby at least partly closing the space at the edge of the cloth and preventing the settable material from spilling out. In addition, the packing of the settable material and maximum space between the faces are such that only a predetermined amount of liquid can be accommodated within the space and that amount is matched to the water required to set the cement.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR REINFORCING COMPOSITE STRUCTURE
Disclosed herein are a repair apparatus, system, and method for structurally reinforcing an abnormal composite structural member. The repair is suited for reinforcing a cured composite structure that defines a strength tolerance and has an abnormality that reduces the structural strength relative to the strength tolerance of the cured composite. The structural reinforcement repairs the abnormality in the cured composite and provides the repair strength so that the repaired composite has a structural strength that meets or exceeds the strength tolerance. The structural reinforcement has a composite patch that is coupled to the cured composite over the abnormality and is covered by pressure-sensitive tape.
WOUND DRESSING MATERIAL AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
A wound dressing material comprises first and second wound-contact scrims, and an antimicrobial layer disposed therebetween. The wound-contact scrims comprise water-sensitive fibers comprising a copolymer comprising divalent hydroxyethylene monomer units and divalent dihydroxybutylene monomer units. The wound dressing material may be contacted with an exposed surface of a wound. A method of making the wound dressing material is also disclosed.
Film composite for packaging transdermal patches, and package made of such a film composite
a film composite for manufacturing a package for planar carriers of pharmaceutical active substances, for example transdermal patches, encompassing, in a direction from the outer side of the film composite toward its inner side: a metal layer; an acrylic-acid-containing joining layer; a polyethylene layer; and a COC layer made of cycloolefin copolymer, a side of the COC layer which faces away from the metal layer being an exposed surface of the film composite, wherein provision is made that the polyethylene layer encompasses metallocene polyethylene.
PATCH PRODUCT BASED ON NATURAL POLYMERS
The patch product comprises a membrane substrate suitable to be absorbed by the skin and based on natural polymers, as well as at least one active ingredient. It can be packaged in a wrapping comprising a support base, on which the patch product is placed, and a coating layer that acts as protection for the patch product.
Three dimensional electrospun biomedical patch for facilitating tissue repair
A three-dimensional electrospun biomedical patch includes a first polymeric scaffold having a first structure of deposited electrospun fibers extending in a plurality of directions in three dimensions to facilitate cellular migration for a first period of time upon application of the biomedical patch to a tissue, wherein the first period of time is less than twelve months, and a second polymeric scaffold having a second structure of deposited electrospun fibers. The second structure of deposited electrospun fibers includes the plurality of deposited electrospun fibers configured to provide structural reinforcement for a second period of time upon application of the three-dimensional electrospun biomedical patch to the tissue wherein the second period of time is less than twelve months. The three-dimensional electrospun biomedical patch is sufficiently pliable and resistant to tearing to enable movement of the three-dimensional electrospun biomedical patch with the tissue.
Method and apparatus for assembling absorbent articles
The present disclosure relates to assembling elastic laminates that may be used to make absorbent article components. Methods herein may include an anvil adapted to rotate about an axis of rotation, wherein first and second spreader mechanisms adjacent the anvil roll are axially and angularly displaced from each other with respect to the axis of rotation. During the assembly process, a substrate may be advanced in a machine direction onto the rotating anvil. The first spreader mechanism stretches a first elastic material in the cross direction, and the second spreader mechanism stretches a second elastic material in the cross direction. The stretched first and second elastic materials advance from the spreader mechanisms and onto the substrate on the anvil roll. The combined and elastic materials may then be ultrasonically bonded together on the anvil to form at least one elastic laminate.
INCONTINENCE & STOMA SCENT PATCH
An adhesive device is capable of releasing fragrances, specifically scent patches. The adhesive device is used in the treatment of side effects associated with incontinence or an ileostomy.
