The inner plastic tube is polyethylene of raised temperature. The outer plastic tube is polyethylene of raised temperature. The aluminum layer comprises AL 3005-O.
TUBE AND PUMP USING SAME
[Object] To provide a tube having excellent long-term reliability.
[Means for Solution]
A tube for use in a pump that transports a fluid by peristaltic movement, the tube including: a flow path that serves as a transport path of the fluid and extends in a first direction; and a body portion formed around the flow path, wherein the body portion includes a first layer formed on the flow path and a second layer formed on the first layer, a flexural modulus of elasticity in a radial direction of the second layer is smaller than a flexural modulus of elasticity in a radial direction of the first layer, and when an elastic modulus ratio R1 of the first layer is defined as a ratio of a tensile modulus of elasticity in a circumferential direction of the first layer to the flexural modulus of elasticity in the radial direction of the first layer, and an elastic modulus ratio R2 of the second layer is defined as a ratio of a tensile modulus of elasticity in a circumferential direction of the second layer to the flexural modulus of elasticity in the radial direction of the second layer, the elastic modulus ratio R2 of the second layer is larger than the elastic modulus ratio R1 of the first layer.
ENERGY DISSIPATIVE TUBES, ARC-TRAPPING BUSHINGS, AND KITS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS INCORPORATING THE SAME
One aspect of the invention provides a system including: a length of energy-dissipative tubing; a first sealing device coupled to a first end of the length of energy-dissipative tubing; and a second sealing device coupled to a second end of the length of energy-dissipative tubing. Exposure to one or more selected from the group consisting of: fault currents or lightning strikes at an exposure point along the length of energy-dissipative tubing will produce arcs at the exposure point and at least one of the first end and the second end.
INTERMEDIATE DEFORMATION LAYER WITH ADJUSTABLE MACROSCOPIC STIFFNESS FOR BONDED ASSEMBLY
Disclosed is a bonded assembly comprising at least: a first substrate, a second substrate, an intermediate deformation layer secured to the first substrate, the intermediate deformation layer comprising a material in which cavities are provided so that the intermediate deformation layer has a stiffness which is variable along a direction parallel to the intermediate deformation layer, an adhesive between the intermediate layer and the second substrate.
DIELECTRIC, CIRCUMFERENTIALLY CONTINUOUS, MULTILAYERED TEXTILE SLEEVE AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION THEREOF
A multilayered textile sleeve for routing and protecting elongate members and method of construction thereof are provided. The multilayered textile sleeve includes a plurality of textile layers overlying one another to form a multilayered tubular wall extending lengthwise about a central axis between opposite open ends. The plurality of textile layers include a textile innermost layer and a textile outer layer. At least one silicone layer is sandwiched between the textile innermost layer and the textile outer layer.
Tube
A tube for receiving a liquid or pasty product comprising a multilayered tube jacket, the tube jacket having one or more outer layer(s) made of polyolefin, one or more inner layer(s) made of polyolefin and a barrier layer arranged between the outer layer(s) and the inner layer(s), wherein the barrier layer consists of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH), and wherein the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer of the barrier layer has an ethylene content of <35 mol % and the thickness of the barrier layer is ≤25 μm.
PYLON SNAP JACKET ENCASEMENT
The present invention provides a protective coating for protecting a substrate from deleterious elements present in environments in which the substrates are deployed and methods and apparatus for deploying a PVC encasement with a longitudinal snap jacket of suitable length and girth to coat a pylon substrate or building girder and provide a filler within the snap jacket and around an encased pylon.
JOINING STRUCTURE
A joining structure includes a first member, a second member of a material different from that of the first member, and a separation mechanism provided between the first member and the second member and that separates the first member and the second member from each other, wherein a resin is filled into the space between the edge of at least one member among the first member and the second member, and the other member.
Nonwoven Flexible Composites
Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for using nonwoven materials for evacuation slides, life rafts, life vests, and other life-saving inflatable devices. The nonwoven materials have a substrate layer with continuous filaments formed in various directions.
TUBULAR LINER FOR REHABILITATING UNDERGROUND AND SURFACE PIPES AND PIPELINES
A seamless tubular liner for repairing an underground or surface pipe is disclosed, including circumferential wefts consisting of slivers comprising a plurality of staple fibers bundled together, the slivers adapted to elongate through disentanglement of the bundled staple fibers when the seamless tubular liner is subjected to an inflation pressure such that the diameter of the tubular liner is able to expand to accommodate variations of diameter of the pipe being repaired.
