HIGH-SURFACE AREA ELECTRODES FOR WEARABLE ELECTROCHEMICAL BIOSENSING
The present invention is directed to the production of stretchable wrinkled film electrodes for use in wearable/portable ROC systems using electrochemical analysis techniques. A polymer layer is disposed on a conductive substrate and a sacrificial layer is disposed on said polymer layer. An electrode shape template is cut out of adhesive and disposed on the sacrificial layer. A metallic film is disposed on the sacrificial layer by the electrode shape template. The disposed layers are removed from the conductive substrate and placed in an oven to allow said layers to shrink. The shrunken metallic film is treated with a solution to promote bonding between the film and an elastomer. The elastomer is drop-cast onto the shrunken film and the sacrificial layer is dissolved to detach the shrunken polymer layer. The shrunken film and elastomer are placed in a chemical bath and dried, producing the stretchable wrinkled film electrode.
LAMINATOR
A laminator is disclosed. The laminator includes a substrate supply part for supplying a substrate on which a metal pattern is formed; a coverlay supply part for supplying a film to which a plurality of coverlays is attached; a heating roller part for bonding the substrate and the film so that the plurality of coverlays respectively covers the metal pattern; a substrate tension adjustment part and a film tension adjustment part; a bonding state image photographing part for measuring an interval between the plurality of coverlays after the substrate and the film are bonded; and an adjustment part for adjusting the substrate tension adjustment part or the film tension adjustment part so that the interval between the plurality of coverlays measured by the bonding state image photographing part maintains a preset allowable interval.
STRUCTURES WITH TUNABLE STIFFNESS
A structure having a tunable modulus of bending (flexibility) composed of interlocking geometric particles arranged such that an external pressure/force causes them to jam together, increasing the stiffness of the overall structure. Methods for creating the external pressure can include the use of an envelope around the structure that can be evacuated of air.
TOUCH PANEL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A touch panel and a manufacturing method of the touch panel are provided. The touch panel includes a touch circuit board, a cover plate and a glue layer. The glue layer is arranged between the touch circuit board and the cover plate to bond the touch circuit board and the cover plate. The glue layer contains an epoxy resin main agent and an epoxy resin hardener.

A glue jamming prevention structure of a laminator is disclosed, having a main structure that includes a housing, an entry opening and an out-feeding opening respectively arranged at two sides of the housing, a left side board, a right side board, and a power element arranged in the housing. A first entry driving axle, a second entry driving axle, a first out-feeding driving axle, a second out-feeding driving axle, a left-side elastic assembly, and a right-side elastic assembly are arranged on the left side board and the right side board. A first driving belt is arranged on the first entry driving axle and the first out-feeding driving axle. A second driving belt is arranged on the second entry driving axle and the second out-feeding driving axle.

A sheet attaching apparatus includes a gripping mechanism that grips one end portion, in a longitudinal direction, of a first sheet that has been drawn out from a first supply roll; a moving mechanism that allows the first sheet to be attached to a second sheet by moving the gripping mechanism to cause the first sheet to approach and contact the second sheet that passes through an attaching portion provided in a feeding path; and a releasing mechanism that releases a grip of the gripping mechanism on the first sheet, after the first sheet has contacted the second sheet.

A substrate bonding apparatus for bonding a first substrate to a second substrate includes a first bonding chuck supporting the first substrate, a second bonding chuck disposed above the first bonding chuck and supporting the second substrate, a resonant frequency detector detecting a resonant frequency of a bonded structure with the first substrate and the second substrate which are at least partially bonded to each other, and a controller controlling a distance between the first bonding chuck and the second bonding chuck according to the detected resonant frequency of the bonded structure.
