DISPLAY SUBSTRATE AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
The present disclosure provides a display substrate and a display apparatus, belonging to the field of display technology. The present disclosure provides a display substrate, having a plurality of island regions, bridge regions and clearance regions. The display substrate includes: at least one base including a sub-base and a buffer layer. The sub-base includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, and the buffer layer is disposed on a side of the second surface of the sub-base away from the first surface. In the at least one base, the sub-base of any base has a same orientation. At least one first opening is provided at a position of the buffer layer of the at least one base corresponding to each island region.
STONE SLABS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
This document describes systems and processes for forming stone slabs, which may be suitable for use in living or working spaces (e.g., along a countertop, table, floor, shower surrounds, tiles, or the like). In some embodiments, the stone slabs may be processed by partially filling a mold with a particulate mineral mix, and preparing a top surface of the particulate mineral mix to received one or more additional materials.
AIRCRAFT SEEKER WINDOWS AND AIRCRAFT WINDOW SYSTEMS INCLUDING THE SAME
An approach to seeker windows for aircraft comprises a window layer comprising an IR transparent material, the window layer comprising a first side and a second side substantially opposite the first side; and a heating layer on the first side or the second side of the window layer, the heating layer configured to apply a heating profile to the window layer to reduce thermal shock imparted to the window layer when the seeker window is exposed to hypersonic flight conditions.
Antifouling article
An antifouling article including a base material, a diamond-like carbon layer and an antifouling coating layer formed of a surface-treating agent on the diamond-like carbon layer. The surface-treating agent includes a group having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond, a group having a carbon-nitrogen unsaturated bond, or a leaving group.
Anisotropic graphite and anisotropic graphite composite
Provided is anisotropic graphite for producing an anisotropic graphite composite having excellent thermal conduction property and excellent long-term reliability as a heat dissipating member. Given an X axis, a Y axis orthogonal to the X axis, and a Z axis perpendicular to a plane defined by the X axis and the Y axis, and a crystal orientation plane of the anisotropic graphite is parallel to an X-Z plane, and a specific number of holes each having a specific size are formed in at least one surface out of surfaces of the anisotropic graphite which are parallel to an X-Y plane.
Soundproof member
A soundproof member is provided. The soundproof member includes a structural element, and a first composite film which is disposed on the bottom surface of the structural element. The structural member includes at least one through hole and the through hole passes through the structural element. The first composite film includes a polymer material and an inorganic nanoscale material, wherein the inorganic nanoscale material is a one-dimensional inorganic nanoscale material or a two-dimensional inorganic nanoscale material.
Heat insulating material, method for manufacturing same, and electronic equipment and automobile using same
A heat insulating material includes an aerogel that has macro-pores and meso-pores. A method for manufacturing a heat insulating material, including: a sol preparation step of adding a gelling agent into sodium silicate such that a molar ratio of the gelling agent relative to NaO.sub.2 is 0.1 to 0.75, and adjusting a sol into which macro-pores are introduced by leaving unreacted Na and non-cross-linked oxygen in a siloxane skeleton; an impregnating and gelling step of impregnating a nonwoven fabric fiber structure with the sol to form a composite of hydrogel-nonwoven fabric fiber; a hydrophobizating step of mixing the formed composite of hydrogel-nonwoven fabric fiber with a silylating agent to modify a surface thereof; and a drying step of removing a liquid contained in the surface modified composite of hydrogel-nonwoven fabric fiber by drying under a temperature and pressure lower than respective critical values.
STEAM TURBINE MEMBER
A steam turbine member has suppressed adhesion of scale for a long time without deterioration of corrosion resistance and the like of a turbine. A steam turbine member includes a hard layer 2 and a deposited amorphous carbon film 3 on a base material 1, in that order.
Method for the exfoliation of graphene
A process for exfoliating graphene, includes a step of irradiating a first substrate comprising graphene on its surface, with a helium or hydrogen plasma containing ions of energy comprised between 10 and 60 eV. A process for fabricating graphene on the surface of a second substrate, comprising the exfoliating process.
