A tension detection device according to an embodiment includes a base, a support member, a continuous body, an external force detection unit, and a tension detection unit. One end or both ends of the support member are fixed to the base. The support member has an external force measurement section integrally provided at the one end or both ends thereof. The continuous body is conveyed while wound around an outer circumference of the support member. The external force detection unit is provided at the external force measurement section of the support member. The external force detection unit detects an external force. The tension detection unit detects tension of the continuous body based on a detection result from the external force detection unit.

A tension detection device according to an embodiment includes a base, a support member, a continuous body, an external force detection unit, and a tension detection unit. Industrial printer
A high speed tabletop and industrial printer is disclosed with integrated high speed RFID encoding and verification at the same time. The industrial printer simultaneously prints on and electronically encodes/verifies RFID labels, tags, and/or stickers attached to a continuous web. The industrial printer comprises a lighted sensor array for indexing the printing to the RFID tags; and a cutter powered from the industrial printer for cutting the web that the RFID tags are disposed on. The industrial printer comprises two RFID reader/writers that are individually controlled. Specifically, one of the RFID reader/writers comprises the ability to electronically encode the RFID tags while the web is moving; and the second RFID reader/writer uses an additional RFID module and antenna on the printer for verifying the data encoded to the RFID tags.
Printing apparatus for bending a sheet to form a loop
A printing apparatus, comprising a storage unit for storing a sheet, a printing unit for printing on the sheet conveyed by a first conveyance unit from the storage unit, a second conveyance unit, provided between the first conveyance unit and the storage unit, for conveying the sheet from the storage unit toward the first conveyance unit, a conveyance control unit for controlling driving of the first and the second convey units such that the sheet is bent between the first conveyance unit and the second conveyance unit, and a detection unit, provided between the first and the second conveyance units, for detecting bending of the sheet, wherein the conveyance control unit stops conveyance of the sheet by the first conveyance unit based on a detection result of the detection unit.

A printer configured to cut recording paper with a fixed blade and a movable blade has a blade unit including the movable blade and a slider to which the movable blade is attachable, and the slider includes: a contact part configured to contact the movable blade; a flexible part formed thinner than the contact part; and a first protrusion provided on the flexible part and configured to engage with a first opening provided in the movable blade.

Provided is a printing device including a print data receiving unit, a page calculation unit that calculates a number of pages before stopping with using a page length of received print data and a distance from a printing mechanism unit to a visual recognition unit, a print instruction unit that changes the number of pages before stopping or a number of printed pages and performs print processing when the received print data corresponds to a control page for controlling printing, and a print stop unit that stops printing when the number of printed pages coincides with the number of pages before stopping.
Mounting apparatus
A mounting apparatus for mounting a printing apparatus to a structure includes an attachment part, which is attachable to the structure, and a support member upon which a printing apparatus is supportable. The support member enables the printing apparatus to be located in a desired position along a first axis, which extends in a first direction relative to the structure, and wherein at least a part of a footprint of the support member defined in a first plane, which is substantially transverse to the first axis, overlaps at least a part of a footprint of the printing apparatus defined in a second plane, which is substantially transverse to the first axis.
THERMAL HEAD FOR THERMAL TRANSFER MACHINE
A thermal head for a thermal transfer machine is provided to transfer a film onto a card. The thermal head may include a frame intended to be secured to the machine. The thermal head may also include a heating bar mounted on the frame, intended to create heat and having a heating surface designed to diffuse said heat towards the outside. The thermal head may yet also include a pad produced from a flexible material and fixed removably against the heating surface so as to be placed between the heating surface and the film.

The first control unit includes an issuing unit that issues a command that schedules a next operation of a motor according to an instruction from a controller. The second control unit includes a receiving unit that receives the command, a detecting unit that detects a state of the motor, a determining unit that makes a determination as to whether to drive the motor to perform the operation according to the state detected by the detecting unit, and an executing unit that drives the motor to perform the operation scheduled by the command as determined by the determination.
