Image forming apparatus changing a display state of a software key on a display when a corresponding hardware key is pressed
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus main assembly including a panel surface 57 capable of inputting information by displaying a software numerical key portion 58 and a numerical key portion 206 comprised of a plurality of hardware keys, and is provided with a general-purpose numerical key unit 200 capable of inputting information to the apparatus main assembly. The panel surface 57 includes a plurality of software keys corresponding to the numerical key portion 206, and in a case that a “1” key 206a of the numerical key portion 206 is in an ON state, the ON state of the “1” key 206a is displayed by using a “1” key 58a corresponding to the “1” key 206a.
Input device and image forming apparatus
An input device that is mountable on an image forming apparatus includes a plurality of numerical keys arranged as hardware keys, a connector provided in a casing of the input device and configured to electrically connect the image forming apparatus and the input device, and a USB port provided in the casing and configured to USB-connect external equipment, which is different from the image forming apparatus, to the input device. As viewed in an up-down direction that the numerical keys are pressed, the USB port is provided on a front side surface of the casing.
PRINTING SYSTEM INCLUDING PRINTING DEVICE HAVING READING FUNCTION AND DATA PROCESSING SERVER PERFORMING PAYMENT-RELATED PROCESS RELATED TO FEE PAYMENT FOR PRINTING
A printing system includes: a printing device; and a data processing server. A first controller of the printing device is configured to perform: a reading process to read a reading target to generate image data; a determination process to determine whether to transmit the image data to the data processing server according to at least one of available capacity information and capacity-related information; and a data transmission process to transmit the image data to the data processing server. A second controller of the data processing server is configured to perform: a payment-related process related to a fee payment for printing based on the image data. The first controller is configured to further perform, after the fee payment is completed: an acquisition process to acquire print data corresponding to the image data; and a printing process to form an image corresponding to the print data on a printing medium.
Image forming apparatus controlling input from a first input device or a second input device based on which is connected to the image forming apparatus
In an image forming apparatus, in a case that a connected numerical key unit is a dedicated numerical key unit including a numerical key portion for executing, as predetermined processing, numerical value input processing for inputting information on a numerical value and including an operation key portion and a setting key portion for executing, as predetermined processing, another input processing for inputting information on an operation of the image forming apparatus other than the numerical value input processing (step S12; YES), a controller executes the predetermined processing in a case that either of the respective key portions is operated (step S13). On the other hand, in a case that the connected numerical key unit is a general-purpose numerical key unit different from the dedicated numerical key unit (step S1; NO), the controller executes the predetermined processing only in a case that the numerical key portion is operated (step S14).
CONDENSATION CONTROL IN AN INKJET PRINTER
In one example, a process to control condensation in an inkjet web printer includes injecting hot, dry air into the print zone. In another example, a shroud assembly includes a shroud spanning a full width of the print zone and having openings therein through which printheads are exposed during printing and an air injector attached to or integral with the shroud. The air injector spans a full width of the print zone upstream from all of the openings in the shroud. The air injector is configured to discharge air down and downstream with respect to a print media moving through the print zone during printing.
CONTROL DEVICE OF DIGITAL CAMERA WITH PRINTER, OPERATION METHOD FOR CONTROL DEVICE OF DIGITAL CAMERA WITH PRINTER, AND OPERATION PROGRAM FOR CONTROL DEVICE OF DIGITAL CAMERA WITH PRINTER
The processor recognizes a first act for an imaging and print instruction that combines an imaging instruction and an instruction to print an image, the first act being performed by a person to be imaged who is included in a subject and within an imaging range of a camera unit, causes the camera unit to perform an imaging operation of outputting an image required to be printed in a case where the first act is recognized, recognizes a second act for an instruction to stop printing the image required to be printed, and causes a printer unit to print the image required to be printed in a case where the second act is not recognized during a predetermined print standby period and instructs the printer unit to stop printing the image required to be printed in a case where the second act is recognized during the print standby period.
Input device and image forming apparatus
A numerical key unit 70 mounted in a mounting portion 12 of an image forming apparatus 1 and card reader of inputting information to the image forming apparatus 1 includes a casing 71 mounted on the mounting portion 12, an operating key 100 comprised of a hardware key capable of inputting information on a numerical value, a substrate 73 provided inside the casing 71, a main assembly-side cable 76 connected to a connector 85 mounted on the substrate 73 and electrically connecting the image forming apparatus 1 and the numerical key unit 70, and a first opening 71a through which the main assembly-side cable 76 is inserted. The first opening 71a is provided on a bottom of the casing 71 so that in a thickness direction of the substrate 73, the main assembly-side cable 76 is exposed to an outside of the casing 71 from a surface on a side opposite from a surface where the operating key 100 is provided.
PRINTING SYSTEM SUSPENDING PRINTING AND PERFORMING ONE OF POST FEE-SETTLEMENT PROCESS AND RESTART PROCESS
A printing system controls a printing member to perform printing based on a print job for which a charged fee is already settled. The printing system receives a first instruction to suspend the printing started by the printing member and suspends the printing started by the printing member in response to reception of the first instruction. The printing system receives a second instruction as to a post suspending process to be executed after the printing is suspended. The printing system performs one of a post fee-settlement process and a restart process, as the post suspending process. The post fee-settlement process is related to provision of a benefit corresponding to refunding at least part of the charged fee. The restart process is to restart the suspended printing to complete the print job after a reason that the first instruction is made is resolved.
