A photoluminescent writing pad, wherein a) the writing pad is fastened to a back cover of a notebook and arranged to be turned to a writing pad of a page of the notebook, b) the writing pad is arranged to gleam through a writing page thus enabling reading and writing in darkness and c) the writing pad has notches for accommodating a spiral wire, especially spiral or wire or similar binding, of a notebook for securing the writing pad under the page of the notebook to function as an interleaf.

A trace analyte collection swab having a collection surface at least partially coated with a microscopically tacky substance to enhance pick-up efficiency is described. In embodiments, the truce analyte collection swab comprises a substrate including a surface having a trace analyte collection area and a coating disposed on the surface of the substrate in the trace analyte collection area. The coating is configured to be microscopically adhesive to collect particles of the trace analyte from a surface when the trace analyte collection area is placed against the surface. In one embodiment, the coating comprises Polyisobutylene.

A trace analyte collection swab having a collection surface at least partially coated with a microscopically tacky substance to enhance pick-up efficiency is described. In embodiments, the truce analyte collection swab comprises a substrate including a surface having a trace analyte collection area and a coating disposed on the surface of the substrate in the trace analyte collection area. The coating is configured to be microscopically adhesive to collect particles of the trace analyte from a surface when the trace analyte collection area is placed against the surface. In one embodiment, the coating comprises Polyisobutylene.

A dispensing assembly comprising a stack (104) of sheets, such as notes or flags, and the dispensing structure. The dispensing structure comprises: a first clamping member (118) defining a first end (120) and a second end (122); a second clamping member (146) pivotally coupled to the first clamping member, the second clamping member defining a third end (148) and a fourth end (150), the second clamping member comprising: abase plate (152) defining an aperture (154); a retention element (182) laterally spaced apart from the base plate to define a space (184) therebetween, wherein a stack of a plurality of sheets are disposed within the space; and a plunger (200) slidable within the aperture of the base plate; and a biasing member (218) connected to the first clamping member proximate the first end thereof and to the second clamping member proximate the third end thereof, wherein the biasing member is adapted to bias the second end and the fourth end of the first and second clamping members, respectively, towards the support structure for coupling the dispensing structure with the support structure. The retention element (182) includes a first plate (186) and a second plate (188) longitudinally spaced apart from the first plate such that a slot (190) is defined therebetween, and wherein at least one of the sheets of the stack is adapted to pass through the slot.

A method for making an agenda with an integrated housing for a writing instrument is disclosed. The method uses a sheet having lines of creases and a plurality of elements which form the cover of the agenda and are mutually separated in their inside by corresponding first parallel creases, and a plurality of quadrangular strips separated in their inside by second creases arranged transversely to the first parallel creases. The plurality of strips is connected to a first element of the plurality of elements. The plurality of strips is folded to form a tubular frame. One of the strips adheres to the surface of the first element to fasten the tubular frame. The plurality of elements is folded so that the first element is a part of one side of the agenda cover, and a second element is a part of a second side of the agenda cover. A block of sheets is fastened to the sheet and extends below the tubular frame.

A pad of a plurality of sheets of expandable slit paper is provided in which the paper expands in thickness when stretched to form expanded cells, wherein the sheets of expandable slit paper are bound together along a single edge and otherwise unbound together. In some embodiments, sheets of slit sheet material are removable for use of the slit sheet material for packing items or the like with the slit sheet material in an expanded state.

A calendar has one or more individual pages of the calendar that include portions of the pages that are omitted, removed or removable in order to enable aligned portions of other pages of the calendar to be viewed through the removed portions. The removed portions can be formed as apertures in the page and/or as removed portions of one or more edges of the page, among others to allow the stacked pages to form a coordinated, and optionally customizable, decorative appearance for the calendar.

A pad of a plurality of sheets of expandable slit paper is provided in which the paper expands in thickness when stretched to form expanded cells, wherein the sheets of expandable slit paper are bound together along a single edge and otherwise unbound together. In some embodiments, sheets of slit sheet material are removable for use of the slit sheet material for packing items or the like with the slit sheet material in an expanded state.

A two-sided hinged note comprises a generally planar sheet, an adhesive, and a hinge. The sheet has opposing front and back sides, both of which are suitable to be written upon at least in part. The adhesive, which may be pressure-sensitive and re-adherable, is on an adhesive area of the back side of the note and is capable of adhering to a surface of an item such that the sheet is flat against the surface thereby presenting the front side of the sheet facing outward from the surface. The hinge is proximate the adhesive area, wherein the hinge is operable to pivot approximately 180° to thereby present the back side of the sheet facing outward from the surface as a the sheet is approximately flat against the surface of the item.
