MARKER HOLDER AND ERASER
A new design for a marker holder and eraser has a front side and a back side, the back side having a recess. The front side has two openings for retaining markers. A metal plate and a magnet holder are disposed within the recess and an erasing material covers the recess. Projections extend from the magnet holder into openings on the front side to engage markers disposed in the openings, thereby holding the markers at any angle.
MARKER DEVICE FOR USE WITH A CNC LAYOUT TABLE
A marker device is provided for use with a horizontally disposed CNC layout table. The device of this invention is a one-piece device for supporting a tubular ink marker tube above the surface of the layout table. The device includes means for yieldably urging the marker tip of the ink marker tube downwardly into contact with the item being marked.
SANITARY SLEEVE FOR A HANDHELD ITEM
A sanitary sleeve comprising a body configured to be grasped by a hand of a user, the body extending from a first end toward a second end along an axis, the body including a plurality of layers configured to be removed one at a time, and the plurality of layers including at least a first layer and a second layer, and wherein removal of the first layer of the plurality of layers exposes the second layer of the plurality of layers.
Gripping device system and methods of making and using the same
A device at properly aligns a user's hand when gripping a writing implement, such as pencil. The device includes four separate elements that combine in specific ways to grow and/or build a mature grasp. The device includes a base that is configure round the pencil and provides support for the user's fingers. A handle can releasably attach to the writing implement, providing support for the user's palm. A web support can be releasably attached to the handle, thereby stabilizing the user's thumb while gripping the writing implement. The device can also include an independent web positioner support that can be moved closer or towards the base depending on the separation needed. Advantageously, the grip device provides several stages to develop and build a mature grip pattern.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSCRIBING MARKER LOCATIONS, INCLUDING ERASURES
One embodiment is an apparatus for capturing marker stroke locations, including erasures. The marker includes a transmitter of acoustic pulses and an erasure cap detector that detects when a removable erasure cap is attached to the marker. A receiver includes two or more sensors to sense the acoustic pulses, the receiver operable to determine and track marker locations. When the removable erasure cap is attached to the marker, the marker locations are erasures, and when there is no erasure cap attached, the marker locations being tracked capture strokes. Another embodiment is a method of capturing marker stroke locations, including erasures, using the marker, the removable erasure cap for erasures, and the receiver.
APPARATUS WITH TOOLS CAPABLE OF SIMULTANEOUSLY MODIFYING A SUBSTRATE
An apparatus for modifying a sheet of a material (e.g., paper, cardstock, a plastic film, foil, fabric, etc.), or a substrate, includes a base, a handle and a plurality of tools held by the handle. The tools may be removably secured to the handle, and may be arranged in a variety of different ways. Each tool is capable of interacting with the substrate in a manner that will modify (e.g., cut, score, perforate, mark, etc.) the substrate. The handle is capable of being translated, or moved, at least partially across the substrate and of causing the tools to concurrently interact with and modify a plurality of laterally discrete, a substantially linear, substantially parallel locations of the substrate as the handle is translated at least partially across the substrate. Modular tools that may be used with an apparatus that holds a plurality of tools or with hand-held handles are also disclosed, as are methods for simultaneously modifying a plurality of laterally discrete, a substantially linear, substantially parallel locations of a substrate.
Lanyard slider with implement holders
A lanyard slider includes a plate-like slider body having a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side portion, and a second side portion. The plate-like slider body defines at least one cord opening extending longitudinally therethrough along a cord opening axis extending between the bottom surface and the top surface, where the cord opening is sized to receive a lanyard cord. The lanyard slider also has at least one implement holder that is contiguous with and extends from the slider body. Each implement holder has a first holder sidewall and a second holder sidewall extending in opposed and spaced apart relation, where the first holder sidewall and the second holder sidewall define therebetween an implement passageway extending along a holder passageway axis and having an elongated cross-sectional shape.
Color Changing Protective Cover for a Writing Instrument
The present invention relates generally to the field of writing utensil accessories. More specifically, the present invention relates to a color changing protective cover for a writing instruments, such as a pen, pencil, marker, etc. The uniquely designed and initially transparent cover changes color when harmful pathogens, germs, bacteria, or viruses are detected on the surface of the cover to prevent an individual from using a writing implement with a contaminated surface/cover. The invention also ensures that each writing instrument is clean before use, thereby greatly reducing the possibility of the individual contracting germs, pathogens, viruses, bacteria from using the writing instrument.
