REMOVABLY ATTACHABLE HANDLE APPARATUS FOR MANIPULATING CANVAS ART
A removably attachable handle apparatus includes brackets coupleable to canvas art with handles coupleable to the brackets. Brackets may be positioned on opposite sides of the canvas art. An artist may then grasp the handles to create art (e.g., acrylic pours) or may otherwise transport wet art without fear of smudging the art.
Image surface protection structure of a painting
An image surface protection structure of a painting capable of protecting the image surface layer of a painting from dirt and physical damage without impairing the original color or texture of the image surface of the paint layer is provided. An image surface protection structure of a painting comprising: a sealed space having an oxygen concentration of 4% or less, formed from a transparent hard plate and a gas barrier material; a painting placed in the sealed space, with the image surface of it facing the transparent hard plate.
Method of restoring paintings
A method of restoring paintings includes steps for acquiring image data of a painting having a deteriorated part evidencing deterioration including at least one selected from among fading, exfoliation, and damage or loss of the support; generating digital restoration data in which the damaged part of the image data is restored by digital simulation using a computer; printing the digital restoration data on a backing of the painting using ink; and lamination of the printed backing material of the painting to the back of the painting.

HANGING SYSTEM FOR STORAGE AND DISPLAY OF ARTWORK
The invention involves a system for storage and display of artworks. The system includes at least one panel assembly that is moveably mounted from above on a pair of rails so that the panel hangs from the rails. The panel assembly includes a frame supporting perforated metal to allow artwork, such as paintings, to be hung adjacent to the panel from their original hanging mount. A plurality of the sliding panels may be positioned in a parallel spaced manner to allow the artworks to be closely positioned with respect to each other. Security walls may be positioned in close proximity to the panels when in a storage position to prevent unwanted access to the artwork. Viewing the art requires the panels to be pulled out one at a time to view the art on that panel.
Carrying case for wet canvas
A carrying case for wet canvas. The carrying case includes a base having a sidewall extending perpendicularly away therefrom, thereby defining an interior volume. A lid is securable to the sidewall, such that the lid encloses the interior volume when secured thereto. A tension bar is disposed on the base within the interior volume, wherein the tension bar can telescopically move between an extended position and a retracted position. A linear distance between a first side of the tension bar and a second side of the tension bar is greater when in the extended position. The first and second ends are designed to frictionally engage an interior surface of a canvas frame, thereby maintaining a position of the canvas within the interior volume such that an exterior of the canvas is preserved.

METHOD OF RESTORING PAINTINGS
A method of restoring paintings that can shorten the time of restoration work. The present invention also offers a method of restoring paintings which can reduce variability in quality due to differences in the workmens' skills is provided. A method of restoring paintings comprising steps for acquiring image data of a painting having a deteriorated part evidencing deterioration including at least one selected from among fading, exfoliation, and damage or loss of the support; generating digital restoration data in which the said damaged part of the said image data is restored by digital simulation using a computer; printing the digital restoration data on a backing of the painting using ink; and lamination of the said printed backing material of the painting to the back of the painting.
