PNEUMATIC TIRE
Provided is a pneumatic tire. In a tire meridian cross-sectional view of an unloaded state in which regular internal pressure is applied, a tire profile between two ground contact edges is constituted by two tire outer side profiles each having a dimension along the tire profile of 20% or more and 35% or less with respect to a dimension between the ground contact edges along the tire profile, and a tire inner side profile other than the two tire outer side profiles, the tire outer side profiles being constituted by at least four curved lines having different shapes.
Adaptive tractor wheel
Provided are tractor wheels for a downhole tractor. An example tractor wheel comprises a series of continuous springs disposed on the circumference of the tractor wheel, wherein the individual continuous springs in the series of continuous springs are separated by a gap, and a void disposed on the interior of the tractor wheel and that is continuous about the circumference of the tractor wheel.
Protective Barrier for Tires and Application Thereof
A tire has a material diffusion barrier, and a method produces the same. In an embodiment, a method for producing a material diffusion barrier on a tire comprises exposing a surface of the tire to a cationic solution to produce a cationic layer on the surface. The method further comprises exposing the cationic layer to an anionic solution to produce an anionic layer on the cationic layer, wherein a layer comprises the cationic layer and the anionic layer. The layer comprises the material diffusion barrier.
Procedure for Producing a Multi-Compound Tread for Road Vehicle Tires
A process for the manufacture of a tread band, wherein the blocks thereof comprise different portions having differing hysteresis losses. The process comprises a step for the extrusion of a preliminary tread band consisting of a first rubber compound and an injection step, wherein the preliminary tread band, once extruded, is subjected to the action of at least one injector arranged such as to penetrate into the layer of the preliminary tread band and to release a second rubber compound, which is distributed within the layer consisting of said first compound, maintaining exposed a surface that is suitable for defining a portion of the ground-contacting surface of the resulting tread band.
RUBBER COMPOSITION AND TIRE
This disclosure provides a rubber composition that can realize excellent low heat generating properties without deteriorating other performance. The rubber composition contains a rubber component and a filler, where the rubber component contains a conjugated diene-based polymer modified with a modifier containing a compound represented by the formula (1).

PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire of the present disclosure includes, on a tread surface, circumferential main grooves extending in a tire circumferential direction and land portions defined between circumferential main grooves adjacent in a tire width direction among the circumferential main grooves or by the circumferential main grooves and tread edges. The land portions include widthwise grooves extending in the tire width direction and are divided into blocks by the widthwise grooves. At least one widthwise sipe extending in the tire width direction is included within the blocks. Hard rubber with a higher elastic modulus than that of tread rubber is disposed in a tire radial region including at least an opening to the tread surface of a wall defining the widthwise sipe. Microfabrication is applied in a region of the tread surface surrounding at least a portion of the opening of the widthwise sipe to the tread surface.
TIRE AND WHEEL ASSEMBLY
A tire and wheel assembly comprises: a tire including a tread portion; a wheel including a rim portion on which the tire is mounted; and a power reception coil, wherein one or more circumferential main grooves extend in a tire circumferential direction on a tread surface of the tread portion, and at least one circumferential main groove satisfies OTD≥SBG in a reference state.
Tire having specified carcass reinforcement for a two-wheeled vehicle
A tire for a two-wheeled motorized vehicle includes a tread joined by two sidewalls to two beads, the tread having first and second elastomer compositions, crown reinforcement, radially inside tread having a crown layer having mutually parallel circumferential reinforcers forming an angle at most equal to 5° to the circumferential direction, a carcass reinforcement, radially inside crown reinforcement, having turnup. Carcass reinforcement includes mutually parallel reinforcers, and wrapped, in each bead, from the inside to the outside of the tire, about bead wire in order to form turnup having free end E.sub.2. Carcass reinforcement includes crown portion and lateral portion, crown portion extending axially between first and second ends E.sub.2, E′.sub.2, E.sub.2 and E′.sub.2 being symmetric to equatorial plane P of the tire, lateral portion extending symmetrically to equatorial plane P radially towards the inside, from radially outermost end E.sub.2 to fourth end E.sub.4 disposed at the bead wire.
Modified conjugated diene rubber
A modified conjugated diene rubber having a modifying structure derived from a siloxane compound at at least one terminal of a polymer chain containing conjugated diene monomer unit and a monomer unit of a vinyl compound having a functional group interactive with silica.
Wheel assembly including spaced apart tread members having stacked rubber and reinforcing layers and related methods
A wheel assembly may include an inner rim to be coupled to the hub of the vehicle, and an outer rim surrounding the hub. The wheel assembly may also include gas springs operatively coupled between the inner rim and the outer rim to provide a gas suspension permitting relative movement between the inner rim and the outer rim. The wheel assembly may also include tread assemblies carried by the outer rim. Each tread assembly may include a tread member support coupled to the outer rim, and spaced-apart tread members carried by the tread member support and defining a tread pattern therebetween. Each tread member may include at least one rubber layer, and at least one reinforcing layer in stacked relation.
