Image display apparatus for displaying a view outside a vehicle as activated when occupant gets out of the vehicle
An image display apparatus includes: cameras each configured to take an image representing a view outside a vehicle; displays each configured to display the image taken by a corresponding one of the cameras; and a controller configured to control the cameras and the displays. The controller detects a first action that is a preliminary action taken by an occupant of the vehicle to get out of the vehicle in a state in which the cameras and the displays are not activated. When the first action is detected, the controller activates at least one of the cameras and at least one of the displays and control the at least one of the displays to display an image taken by the at least one of the cameras.

APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR EXTENDING A VEHICLE GRAB HANDLE
Apparatus and methods for assisting a user to enter a vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes a coupler for coupling to a vehicle's grab handle and a handle for a user to grasp and pull themselves up by. The handle is coupled to the coupler. The handle includes a gripping portion, wherein the gripping portion is shaped and sized for grasping by a user. A coupling portion is coupled to the gripping portion, wherein the coupling portion is for coupling the handle to the coupler. The coupler may include a first piece for fitting around the grab handle, where the first piece includes a bearing surface for bearing against the grab handle when being used by the user. The coupler may also include an attachment piece for attaching each end of the first piece to and for coupling to the handle.
APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR EXTENDING A VEHICLE GRAB HANDLE
Apparatus and methods for assisting a user to enter a vehicle are provided. Partition opening/closing system
Provision or non-provision of partitions is changeable in correspondence with the presence or absence of occupants in a vehicle. A partition opening/closing system is provided with a partition opening/closing determination unit and a partition drive unit. The partition drive unit is a drive device that drives opening and closing of partitions. Partitions are opened and closed between a plurality of seats provided in the vehicle. The partition opening/closing determination unit is a control unit that determines the necessity for opening/closing of partitions. Information indicating at least one of scheduled boarding and scheduled alighting of the vehicle by occupants is used in this determination.

A device for monitoring one or more passenger seats of a vehicle, the device comprising: at least one sensor configured to monitor an occupancy status for each of the one or more seats; and a communication interface configured to receive reservation conditions for each of the one or more seats; wherein the device is configured to: display an occupancy condition for each of the one or more seats and a reservation condition for each of the one or more seats; and determine the occupancy condition for each of the one or more seats based on the occupancy status for each of the one or more seats over a predefined time period.
SEAT OCCUPANCY MONITOR
A device for monitoring one or more passenger seats of a vehicle, the device comprising: at least one sensor configured to monitor an occupancy status for each of the one or more seats; and a communication interface configured to receive reservation conditions for each of the one or more seats; wherein the device is configured to: display an occupancy condition for each of the one or more seats and a reservation condition for each of the one or more seats; and determine the occupancy condition for each of the one or more seats based on the occupancy status for each of the one or more seats over a predefined time period.
Front vehicle body reinforcing structure
A front vehicle body reinforcing structure includes: a shock absorber housing; a fender apron upper member connected to an upper end of an outer surface of the shock absorber housing in the width direction of the vehicle body; a front side member disposed inwardly in the width direction of the vehicle body at a lower portion of the fender apron upper member, and connected to a lower end of an inner surface of the shock absorber housing in the width direction of the vehicle body; and a fender apron member connecting the front side member and the fender apron upper member. The front side member and the fender apron member may form a three-dimensional box structure, and the fender apron member may be inserted into the front side member.
