Reconfigurable storage assembly for a vehicle
A reconfigurable storage assembly for a vehicle includes a first floor panel and a second floor panel. The first floor panel includes a first outboard region, a first inboard region, and a first underside surface. The first outboard region is configured to be coupled to a base of the vehicle. The first floor panel is configured to pivot in a first rotational direction from a first closed position to a first open position. The second floor panel includes a second outboard region, a second inboard region, and a second underside surface. The second outboard region is configured to be coupled to the base. The second floor panel is configured to pivot in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction from a second closed position to a second open position.
Vehicular mounted rail system
A vehicular mounted rail system may provide a rail, base(s), and rail adapter that are configured to be assembled and mounted to a structural member (e.g., dashboard) of a vehicle so as to enable a user to support an electronic device by the structural member.
LUGGAGE HOLDING STRUCTURE, NET MEMBER FOR HOLDING LUGGAGE, AND LUGGAGE HOLDING METHOD
A vehicle luggage holding structure has left and right first securing parts near a floor surface in a front section of a trunk, left and right second securing parts near the floor surface in a rear section, left and right third securing parts on an upper side relative to the floor surface at the middle in a front-rear direction, and left and right fourth securing parts below the third securing parts. To hold luggage, hanging parts of a net member are hooked onto the left and right first securing parts and on the left and right second securing parts. To partition the trunk in the front-rear direction, the net member is folded along a line connecting a pair of the hanging parts hooked onto the left and right third securing parts, and another pair of the hanging parts are hooked onto the left and right fourth securing parts.
Vehicle door pocket
An apparatus, according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a vehicle door panel, a removeable structure having a retention member fixed on the vehicle door panel, and a holding element associated with the retention member to provide a pocket that can be configured in different ways to accommodate a plurality of powered devices. A power interface in the vehicle door panel powers at least one of the plurality of powered devices. A method according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, providing the power interface in the vehicle door panel to power at least one of the plurality of powered devices, and providing a communications link between at least one of the plurality of powered devices and a vehicle touchscreen or control.
Seatback pocket
In the present disclosure, a seatback pocket is introduced, which includes a backboard combined with a rear side of a seatback and including a hinge shaft provided at a lower end in left and right width directions; a pocket member having a hinge part formed at a lower end and combined with the hinge shaft through a hinge structure to be rotated based on the hinge shaft to provide a pocket space in a region facing the backboard; and an elastic member connected between both ends of the pocket member and the backboard in a shape blocking sides of the pocket space, and configured to provide an elastic restoring force with respect to a rotation direction of the pocket member.
Programmable surface
The devices and systems described herein generally relate to programmable surfaces. A set of tiles in conjunction with actuators, allow for the surface to be constantly changeable from a first shape to an unlimited variety of second shapes. Once a desired second shape is achieved, the shape can be held by actuating the actuators. The system can include detection and maintenance of the shapes of the programmable surface by controlling which of the actuators are released and when they are released.
Truck bed accessory mounting panels
An accessory mounting system is easily coupled to an inner portion of a pick-up bed, thus allowing a user to easily mount and hold equipment. The mounting system includes a number of panels which can be mounted to existing structures within the pick-up box, and which have a pattern of openings to accommodate straps, brackets, tie-downs, and other holding mechanisms.
