VEHICLE EXERCISE SYSTEM
The present invention relates to systems, methods, and apparatus that facilitate exercise in vehicles. In particular, the present invention provides active exercise in passenger and navigation areas in vehicles by incorporating force sensors in the environment surrounding the passenger and/or navigator in the vehicle. The present invention applies the principles of isometric training and interacts with a remote or on-board computer platform to track, measure and provide instruction to the passage and/or navigator engaged in such isometric training.

REMOTE PARKING SYSTEM AND PARKING ASSISTANCE CONTROL APPARATUS USED THEREIN
A remote parking system performs remote parking in which a vehicle is moved from a current position and parked by remote parking. In the remote parking system, a remote controller can be carried outside the vehicle, issues an instruction for remote parking by being operated by an operator, and includes a display screen that displays a state of remote parking. An imaging apparatus captures a peripheral image of the vehicle. A control unit inputs imaging data from the imaging apparatus, and includes an image generating unit that generates an image to be displayed on the display screen based on the imaging data. The image generating unit generates, as a remote parking image, an image in a direction along a line of sight in which a vehicle direction is viewed from the operator. The image includes a blind spot position positioned on a side opposite the operator relative to the vehicle.
ROUTE GENERATION DEVICE, PARKING ASSIST APPARATUS, ROUTE GENERATION METHOD, AND PARKING ASSIST METHOD
A route generation device includes: a steering loaded state input unit to which a steering loaded state of a vehicle is inputted; a parking slot position input unit to which a position of a parking slot near the vehicle is inputted; a vehicle position input unit to which a position of the vehicle is inputted; a number-of-times-of-static-steering upper limit calculation unit configured to calculate, on the basis of the steering loaded state, a number-of-times-of-static-steering upper limit value up to which static steering of the vehicle can be performed between the position of the vehicle and the position of the parking slot; and a guidance route generation unit configured to generate a guidance route for guiding the vehicle to the parking slot, on the basis of the position of the vehicle, the position of the parking slot, and the number-of-times-of-static-steering upper limit value.
Parking support device
In a tilt parking mode, “a target parking position” can be accurately determined without changing a camera tilt angle and an HMI display range, and can be notified to a driver, so that the usability can be improved. A parking support device includes an external field recognition unit such as a camera and a sonar, which recognizes an external field, an information holding unit which holds information of a parking frame line recognized by the external field recognition unit, a parking region extraction unit which extracts a parking region from information of the parking frame line, a parking position determination unit which determines a target parking position from the parking region, and a path calculation unit which calculates a parking path from a current position of an own vehicle up to the target parking position. In a case where part of the parking frame line is not recognized by the camera, the target parking position is defined on the basis of lines connecting an end point of the parking frame line on a rear side of the own vehicle, a virtually extending line of the parking frame line on a front side of the own vehicle, and a point intersecting with the virtual line on a front side of the vehicle from the end point of the parking frame line on the rear side of the own vehicle.
Mobile terminal and remote operation method
A mobile terminal to be carried by a user of a vehicle acquires a captured image of the vehicle, acquires distance information on a distance to the vehicle based on the captured image, determines whether the distance to the vehicle is within a predetermined allowable distance based on the distance information, and transmits an operation signal corresponding to an operation content input by a user to the vehicle when the distance to the vehicle is determined to be within the allowable distance.
PARKING ASSISTANCE DEVICE AND PARKING ASSISTANCE METHOD
In a parking assistance device for moving a vehicle from a current location to a scheduled parking location and parking the vehicle at the scheduled parking location, parking information indicated by a parking assistance code includes obstacle information which is information about obstacles in a parking area, and target location information which is information about a target parking location. A route generation unit is configured to generate a parking route from a current location to a scheduled parking location that is set to the target parking location indicated by the target location information, while avoiding the obstacles indicated by the obstacle information.
Vehicle guidance device, method, and computer program product
According to one embodiment, a vehicle guidance device is to be installed in a vehicle for providing path guidance to the vehicle. The device includes a plurality of receivers that receives a ranging information signal via a ultrasonic-wave ranging sensor, the ranging information signal including an ultrasonic-wave ranging signal on which path guidance information is superimposed, the ultrasonic-wave ranging signal being for measuring a distance to an object; an information extractor that extracts, for each of the receivers, the path guidance information from the ranging information signal; and a path guide that provides the path guidance on the basis of a distance corresponding to the ultrasonic-wave ranging signal and the path guidance information.
Outside recognition apparatus for vehicle
An on-board outside recognition apparatus extracts a feature point from an image including an environment around a user's own vehicle, measures a three-dimensional position of the feature point based on movement of the feature point tracked in time series on the image and calculates a foot position of the feature point on the image from the three-dimensional position of the feature point is performed. Then, the on-board outside recognition apparatus extracts a road surface area where the user's own vehicle can travel, from the image using a degree of similarity of a texture of the image, and judges a feature point the foot position of which is judged not to be included in the road surface area to be highly reliable.
Parking assistance device
A parking assistance device includes an overhead image generation unit generating an overhead image from a captured image obtained by capturing an image around a towing vehicle, a towing determination unit determining whether a towed vehicle is towed, an overhead image display range setting unit selecting a trimming range from a plurality of display ranges at least including a first display range and a second display range wider than the first display range, and a display image generation unit generating an overhead image for display by trimming the trimming range of the overhead image, and a display image including the overhead image for display on which the towing vehicle is superimposed. The overhead image display range setting unit selects the first display range when the towing vehicle does not tow the towed vehicle, and selects the second display range when the towing vehicle tows the towed vehicle.
