The edge of the notch has first and second surfaces intersecting with each other. The second member limits the rotation range of the first member to the range between the position in contact with the first surface and the position in contact with the second surface.

EXCAVATOR RAILCAR
A railcar configured to transport a payload, the open-topped railcar including left and right sidewalls, forward and rear sidewalls, a left track, and a right track. The left and right sidewalls extend vertically from the floor and include upper edges. The forward and rear sidewalls extend vertically from the floor between the left and right sidewalls to form a payload bay. The left track is positioned near the left sidewall and spaced above the floor and below the upper edge of the left sidewall. The right track is positioned near the right sidewall and spaced above the floor and below the upper edge of the right sidewall. The left track and right track may include a number of pedestals spaced apart from each other and a number of ramps angled diagonally upward from some of the pedestals to upper edges of the forward and rear sidewalls. The left and right tracks are configured to support an independent material moving machine at least partially in the payload bay and/or between the left and right sidewalls.

A device for connecting a cross member for receiving pivot pins on two lower longitudinal members of a car body for a rail vehicle. The cross member has a transversal part that connects the two longitudinal members to each other in the region of the connection, and a longitudinal part that extends to the closest car front. The lower longitudinal members extend over the complete length of the car body and consist of multi-chamber hollow profiles made of a fibre composite material. The number of chambers of the multi-chamber hollow profile of each longitudinal member is reduced in the region of the connection such that the wall material of at least one chamber was removed in such a way that the webs to the adjacent chambers are exposed. At these places, load-introducing elements engage, to which load-introducing elements the cross member is attached.
ASSEMBLY FOR INCREASING THE LOAD-BEARING CAPACITY OF A STRUCTURAL COMPONENT OF A RAIL VEHICLE
An assembly for increasing the load-bearing capacity of a structural component of a rail vehicle, in particular the tensile strength and the compressive strength. The structural component has a first connection point and a second connection point. A tensile force acting on the first connection point or a compressive force acting on the first connection point is transmitted to the second connection point. A first load path which is designed to transmit the compressive force is formed between the first connection point and the second connection point, and a second load path which is designed to transmit the tensile force is formed between the first connection point and the second connection point. The first load path and the second load path have different compressive strengths, thus achieving a division of the force transmission by the different compressive strengths.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY EXCHANGE ECOSYSTEM FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
According to some embodiments, a system may include an additive manufacturing platform that provides additive manufacturing capability data. A customer platform, associated with a customer, may transmit an industrial asset item request for an industrial asset item. A digital transaction engine may receive the additive manufacturing capability data and the industrial asset item request. The digital transaction engine may then associate the industrial asset item request with an industrial asset definition file, and, based on the additive manufacturing capability data and the industrial asset definition file, assign the industrial asset item request to the additive manufacturing platform. The assignment of the industrial asset item request may be recorded via a secure, distributed transaction ledger. Responsive to the assignment, the additive manufacturing platform may create the industrial asset item (e.g., via an additive manufacturing printer) and provide the item to the customer.

A roof, an underframe, side roofs and side walls of the assembly-type car body are separately formed by assembling double-layer pultruded profiles, and each double-layer pultruded profile comprises an outer plate, an inner plate and cavities formed by separating an interlayer between the outer plate and the inner plate using ribs; the upper edge and the lower edge of each side roof are respectively connected to an edge of the roof and the upper edge of a side wall by means of lapping joints, and the lower edge of each side wall is connected to an edge of the underframe by means of a side wall connector; each side wall connector is a double-layer pultruded profile unit, the upper edge of the side wall connector is connected to the lower edge of the side wall by a plug joint.
