Bunk bed
A double bunk bed loft system having a staircase and landing on both the lower and upper levels which create hallways between the individual bunks. The hallway allows for users to stand up, but because the placement of upper bunks is over the lower bunks above the beds, the entire bunk system is shorter and saves vertical space. To create a more spacious feel for the lower bunk, the system is designed using exposed beams to support the upper bunk. The upper level remains open to add height.
Seat moveable between a seat configuration and a bed configuration
A seat 100 moveable between a seat configuration and a bed configuration, the seat 100 comprising a squab 120 including upper and lower cushions 126, 124, a conversion mechanism configured to move the squab 120, for converting the seat 100 between the seat and bed configurations, and a backrest 122 connected to the squab 120 or conversion mechanism, for moving with the squab 120, the squab 120 being laterally displaceable by the conversion mechanism between a first position in the seat configuration and a second position in the bed configuration, and the backrest 122 being configured to occupy a space at an end of the squab 120 which is made available by lateral displacement of the squab 120 into the second position, and the upper cushion 126 of the squab 120 being movable relative to the lower cushion 124 for covering the backrest 122 in the bed configuration.

Passenger friendly overhead rest cabin configuration
A passenger rest cabin situated in the overhead crown area of an aircraft provides individual rest compartments along either lateral side of a central longitudinal corridor of limited height. The corridor and entrance thereto is configured to minimize the risk of claustrophobia by providing sensory preparation systems and techniques. Sensory preparation including transitional compartments with variations in video, lighting and ventilation are presented to the passenger to create a more inviting space. The limited height corridor is equipped with a series of handholds, sized and spaced according to the size of the average passenger, to mitigate the strain of traversing the corridor in a bent over position.
Storage container and bed provided with a storage container
A storage container (100) has a base (102) defining at least one storage compartment (202, 204, 206, 208, 210, 212), a top (104) movable between closed and opened positions, latching and locking assemblies. The latching assembly (500) has a latching actuator (110) movable between first and second positions. The latching assembly (500) locks the top (104) to the base (102) when the top (104) is in the closed position and the latching actuator (110) is in the first position and releases the top (104) from the base (102) when the latching actuator (110) is in the second position. The locking assembly has a lock actuator (801) having actuated and released positions. The top (104) is movable when the lock actuator (801) is in the actuated position. The locking assembly locking the top (104) in the open, closed, or an intermediate position when the lock actuator (801) is in the released position. The latching actuator (110) and the lock actuator (801) are operatively connected to the top (104) and move with the top (104) between the closed and the opened position.
