PROTECTIVE COVER FOR DISC
20180010655 · 2018-01-11 ·

A protective cover for a disc is for being disposed on a fork of a bicycle. The fork has a shaft hole. A direction toward which an opening of the shaft hole faces is defined as an axial direction. The bicycle further has a brake disc. The protective cover includes a shell body. As viewed in the axial direction, the shell body and the brake disc are located by the same side of the bicycle, and the brake disc is shielded by the shell body.

ROTOR COVER
20180010654 · 2018-01-11 ·

A rotor cover is provided that limits contact of a disc brake rotor with an object flying from a radially outer side of the disc brake rotor. The rotor cover covers a disc brake rotor, which is rotatable relative to a bicycle frame. The rotor cover includes a circumferential part that at least partially covers a circumferential edge of the disc brake rotor at a radially outer side of the disc brake rotor. The circumferential part includes at least three first pieces facing the circumferential edge of the disc brake rotor, and first openings provided between two adjacent ones of the first pieces in a circumferential direction of the disc brake rotor.

ROTOR COVER

A rotor cover is provided that includes different portions and is configured to meet requirements of each portion. The rotor cover includes a positioning portion that is positioned relative to a bicycle frame or a disc brake rotor and a cover portion that is coupled to the positioning portion to cover the disc brake rotor. The cover portion and the positioning portion include different materials with respect to one another.

ADJUSTABLE AXLE RETAINING STRUCTURE
20230002003 · 2023-01-05 · ·

An adjustable axle retaining structure is disclosed. The structure includes an axle receiving feature on a first leg of a fork assembly and a retaining sleeve within a clamping member on a second leg of the fork assembly. An axle is inserted through the clamping member, the wheel hub and coupled with the axle receiving feature. A component of the axle is tightened thereby moving the retaining sleeve partially out of the clamping member and toward the wheel hub until the wheel hub is in contact with both the retaining sleeve and the axle receiving feature, wherein the moving of the retaining sleeve allows the axle to radially couple the wheel hub with the fork assembly without modifying a preestablished geometry of the fork assembly.

FLAT MOUNT BRAKE CALIPER FOR BICYCLE
20230227120 · 2023-07-20 · ·

Flat mount brake calipers for bicycles are described herein. An example flat mount brake caliper includes a caliper body defining a first piston cylinder and a second piston cylinder. The caliper body has a flat mount surface with a first threaded bore and a second threaded bore extending into the flat mount surface. The first and second threaded bores are configured to receive threaded fasteners to couple the caliper body to a frame of the bicycle. The first and second piston cylinders are arranged such that projections of the first and second threaded bores do not intersect the first or second piston cylinders. The flat mount brake caliper also includes a brake pad and first and second pistons disposed in the respective first and second piston cylinders to move the brake pad relative to the caliper body.

Leaning Vehicle

A leaning vehicle includes a vehicle body, a left front wheel, a right front wheel, a lean mechanism, and a lean brake mechanism. The lean mechanism causes the left front wheel and the right front wheel to lean about a front-rear direction as a rotation center when the vehicle body leans about the front-rear direction as a rotation center. The lean brake mechanism brakes a leaning operation of the lean mechanism. The lean brake mechanism includes a brake disc and brake pads. The brake disc is attached to an upper arm or a lower arm. The brake pads, which are attached such that their position relative to the brake disc changes in the leaning operation, produce a frictional force against the brake disc in the leaning operation.
