An adjustable rear wheel hood system has a movable hood, so to be longitudinally adjusted to accommodate shrinking wheels (due to wear), or other requirements. A longitudinal slot is aligned between the rear wheel hood and the deck, and after adjusting the hood-to-rear wheel separation to a desired amount, the hood is secured to the deck. Either the deck or hood is configured with the slot, while the other piece has holes and/or alignment features that align the pieces together, provide a way to secure the pieces together, and also prevent lateral movement of the hood. A similarly configured adjustable non-braking rear hood is described.

Multi-wheeled vehicles, such as scooters, may include a body, a rear wheel, and a steering assembly. The steering assembly may include a steering shaft, a wheel support chassis, a first front wheel, and a second front wheel. The wheel support chassis is pivotally coupled to the steering shaft for rotation about a chassis pivot axis. The first and second front wheels are rotatingly coupled to the wheel support chassis about respective rotational axes. The second front wheel is at least substantially inline with the first front wheel and located closer to the rear wheel than the first front wheel when the steering shaft is in a forward straight orientation.

In an aspect there is provided a swing scooter, comprising a frame, a steering member, a front wheel, at least two support legs, and at least two platforms. A rear wheel support is pivotally attached each support leg. A rear wheel is rotatably attached to each rear wheel support. Each platform is movably attached to an associated support leg, and positioned for supporting a foot of a user. Each platform has a longitudinal platform axis and is movable between a first position in which the platform is angled down laterally towards a first lateral side of the swing scooter, and a second position in which the platform is angled down laterally towards a second lateral side of the swing scooter. The platform is movable to the first and second positions by movement of the foot of the user.

A scooter to be propelled by a rider is disclosed herein. The scooter comprises a frame including a base capable of supporting the rider standing thereon and having a first side and a second side, and an arcuate bar having a lower end and an upper end. The base has a slot formed at the second side thereof. The arcuate bar extends upwardly from the first side of the base from the lower end thereof. A front wheel is coupled to the upper end of the arcuate bar by a support member, and a rear wheel is coupled to the base at the second side thereof such that the rear wheel is extending into the formed slot thereat. A handlebar is provided at the upper end of the arcuate bar and in connection with the support member to provide directional movement to the front wheel.
