Dredge position controller
11523597 · 2022-12-13 ·

A position controller for electronically monitoring the position and speed of a dredge. The position controller consists of an electric powered line winding spool with an electric encoder to indicate line speed and position to a microprocessor. A drag control assembly with electric control is used to increase, decrease or set the drag at desired setting by microprocessor control. Touch screen microprocessor interface is the preferred method to enter settings into the system and allow display/control through multiple preexisting marine electronic devices throughout a fishing boat.

Variable displacement landing craft

A watercraft according to the present disclosure may include an outer hull that defines an interior or hull cavity, and a ballast system located within the hull cavity. The ballast system may include at least three ballast tanks longitudinally distributed along the hull cavity, and each of the tanks being configured to be independently operated enabling selective entrapment of ballast at three or more different longitudinal locations to enable an intentional shifting of the longitudinal center of gravity (LCG) of the watercraft relative to the design location of the LCG of the watercraft. The watercraft may include at least a forward, a center, and an aft ballast tank, and in some embodiments, additional tanks, in some cases in sponsons, may be included and/or one or more of the forward, center and aft tanks, may be further subdivided for additional active LCG control.

A MARINE CONSTRUCTION AND A METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING THE SAME
20220324540 · 2022-10-13 ·

The present invention provides for a method of marine construction. Said marine construction is based on an external perimeter and inner area and comprises seabed lying elements and floating elements. The marine construction of the present invention comprising fixed elements that are placed on the defined perimeter of said marine construction. Said fixed elements are lying on the seabed. And further comprising floating elements that are placed in the inner area the marine construction, defined by said external perimeter. The marine construction is capable of being deployed at a variety of distances from shore, at a differential nature of sea bed, and to be able to carry out different tasks and destinations, such as but not limited to airport, residency, army base, power station, port, marina, other infrastructures, etc. and any combination thereof.

Fishing net support system
11659823 · 2023-05-30 ·

A fishing net support system includes a boat mount configured to be mounted onto a boat hull. A linkage is attached to the boat mount. A receiver can receive a pole of a fishing net. The receiver is mounted on the linkage, such that the linkage allows pivoting between the boat mount and the receiver within a vertical plane.

WORKBOAT AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A WORKBOAT

A workboat includes at least two hulls, at least one work tool, a body, and at least one carrier frame which is fastened on the body, between a bow and a stern of the workboat. The at least one work tool is arranged on the at least one carrier frame. A range of movement of at least one of the at least one carrier frame and the at least one work tool, in a transverse direction of the workboat, is located centrally with respect to the workboat and between the at least two hulls which extend in a longitudinal direction. In an event of a position change during a work procedure of the at least one work tool, a position of a center of gravity of the workboat varies by at most 15% with respect to a boat length of the workboat.

NON-ABLATIVE MULTI-LAYER COATINGS THAT PREVENT WATER-DERIVED DAMAGE, CORROSION, AND DETERIORATION FROM BIOLOGICAL CHEMICAL PROCESSES AND THAT ARE APPLIED DURING BOAT MANUFACTURE
20230174797 · 2023-06-08 ·

Methods of forming a boat hull include applying an outer polymer layer onto a hull mold, the outer polymer layer being impregnated with a biologically active chemical substance that inhibits biofouling-induced chemical, biological, and bio-proliferative damage. An inner polymer layer is applied onto the outer polymer layer, the inner polymer layer being impregnated with a biologically active chemical substance that inhibits biofouling-induced chemical, biological, and bio-proliferative damage. One or more layers of fiberglass matting are applied on the inner polymer layer, the fiberglass matting being saturated with a polymer selected from one of a group of polymers comprising a vinyl ester polymer, a phthalic unsaturated polyester polymer, and an epoxy polymer.
