A package handling arrangement and method for grouping packages filled with liquid food product includes a transportation belt that transports the packages in a downstream direction, a guide member arranged on one side of the transportation belt, a grouping arrangement that receives the packages from the transportation belt and groups a predetermined number of the packages together, and a retainer that is arranged on an opposite side of the transportation belt relative to the guide member. The retainer has a plurality of flexible elements angled relative to the transportation belt. Each flexible element is configured to flex to enable passage of a package in the downstream direction, and to retract from a flexed position after passage of the package, to prevent movement of the package in an upstream direction.

An introduction guide body (120) comprises: a head part (121) having an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the a shrink film (220); and an air-blowing port (122) that blows air from the inside thereof toward the outer surface thereof. There are an insertion preparation means in which the introduction guide body (120) is gradually introduced into the shrink film (220) of the backing-equipped shrink film packaging (200) by the sliding movement of a slider device (130), and the shrink film (220) is inflated by air, and an insertion means in which the insertion object (300) is gradually inserted into the inflated shrink film (220), and the insertion object (300) is pulled or pushed to a prescribed position by the insertion means.

The method of packaging and displaying knockdown crates generally includes: (a) providing one or more unassembled knockdown crates having two end panels, a bottom panel, and two side panels; (b) uniformly stacking and packing each unassembled knockdown crate into a rectangular tray; and (c) each rectangular tray containing an unassembled knockdown crate stacked into a display box, wherein the exterior of the display box advertises the contents therein for display at a retail location.

A method of activating the shrink characteristic of multi-layered film (1), the method comprising the steps of providing a multi-layered film comprising at least a base layer film (2) that comprises a shrinkable film, a photothermic layer (3), associated with the base layer film, and comprising a photothermic material, exposing the multi-layered film (1) to electromagnetic radiation in order for the photothermic material to generate heat and shrink the multi-layered film (1), wherein the electromagnetic radiation comprises UV-light having a peak wavelength between 200 nm and 399 nm, and at least 90% of the UV-light is within a bandwidth of ±30 nm of the peak wavelength.
