LAMINATE AND STANDING POUCH
A laminate includes a substrate layer and a heat-sealing layer. A fold of the laminate produced by a weight of a 2 kg roller has a folding angle of 20 to 55°, and a content of polyethylene in the laminate is 90% by mass or more. The folding angle may be 25 to 55°. The substrate layer may contain high-density polyethylene. The substrate layer may be a uniaxially oriented linear low-density polyethylene film or an unstretched film made of polyethylene.
Container for foodstuff storage and dispensing
A container and method of manufacture of a container made of a single material is provided. The container includes a base having a base perimeter with a surface, and a wall having an upper edge and a lower edge, the upper edge comprising two upper edge portions, wherein the lower edge is affixed about the entire perimeter surface, and the first upper edge portion is affixed to the second upper edge portion, thereby forming a space to hold foodstuffs. The base stock material is cut and formed into a base with the base perimeter. A seal is applied between the lower edge of the wall and the surface of the base perimeter. Another seal is applied to two vertical end portions of the wall, forming a cup-like container with an internal space. A final seal is applied between two portions of the upper edge of the wall completing the container.
CONTAINER FOR PRODUCT
A container for packaging at least one product is provided. The container comprises a front wall defining a first foot region at a lower end thereof, a rear wall, a bottom wall connected to the rear wall, and a second foot region foldably connected to the bottom wall. The front wall, the rear wall, and the bottom wall at least partially define a receptacle therebetween. The at least one product is at least partially received within the receptacle. The first foot region and the second foot region are attached to each other to form a foot that extends downwardly from the bottom wall away from the receptacle, such that upon seating the foot and the bottom wall on an external planar surface, the container is inclined obliquely to the external planar surface.
ARTICULATING BIOCONTAINERS
A biocontainer having a first film, the film having an interior and exterior side; articulating elements disposed on or within the first film, the articulating elements comprising at least one a folded hinge, a sealed joint, a thinned pathway, a bowed path, an embedded polymeric or metallic cylindrical fiber or rod; and a second film, optionally comprising articulating elements, joined to the first film, to form a biocontainer having a closed volume, wherein the articulating elements permit the biocontainer to expand and collapse along the articulating elements.
Package for irregular shaped objects
A carrier and related methods of use are provided for packaging irregular-shaped products. The carrier has a footing and a vertical support member partially enclosing at least one irregular-shaped product. The vertical support member has: (1) a pair of sidewalls facing one another and having lower tabs joined to opposite ends of the footing, and (2) a rear wall with edges along the junctures with the sidewalls and a lower edge along the juncture with the footing. A wrap encloses the irregular-shaped product(s) and the carrier. The method includes uniformly aligning the irregular-shaped product(s) in the carrier and securing the carrier and product(s) by enclosing them with a wrap.
INTEGRAL CARTON AND TRAY ARRANGEMENTS
A lidding device (102) includes a first panel (104) comprising a lid (106) configured to cover and seal a food container (108). A second panel (110) is foldably connected to the first panel. A third panel (112) includes a bottom panel opposite the lid, wherein the second panel is foldably connected to the first panel and the third panel. A fourth panel (114) is foldably connected to at least one of the first panel and the third panel, wherein the fourth panel and second panel are configured to at least partially enclose a food container between the second and fourth panels.
Package standing feature utilizing blister and paperboard
A package is disclosed including a blister and a folded paperboard card, and having features that provide for the package to be displayed in a self-standing configuration.
PLASTIC BOTTLE AND BASE CUP FOR A PRESSURIZED DISPENSING SYSTEM
A container for a pressurized dispensing system. The container includes a plastic bottle and a base cup bonded to a rounded bottom of the plastic bottle with a hot melt adhesive. The base cup has a bottom surface that allows the container to stand upright. A method of forming the container is also provided wherein hot melt adhesive is deposited in a recessed region in a top wall of a pedestal of the base cup, and a center region of the rounded bottom of the plastic bottle is pressed against the hot melt adhesive such that the adhesive spreads out over the recessed region and the rest of the top wall of the pedestal. After the hot melt adhesive cools, the bottle is securely bonded to the base cup.
CONSUMER PRODUCT PACKAGE
A consumer product package includes a package body that has a front wall, a back wall opposite the front wall, a first cavity having a display surface such that the display surface is disposed between the front and back walls to contain a first consumer product, and a closure slot disposed between the front wall and the display surface; and a lid pivotally connected to the package body opposite the front wall. The lid includes an opening tab positioned along an edge of the lid and an opening flap positioned along the edge of the lid. The lid is pivotable between at least an open position and a closed position, wherein when the lid is in the closed position, the opening flap is received within the closure slot, and when disposed within the closure slot, the package has an Average Lift Force from about 0.01 N to about 4.0 N.
