The removable sealed closure portion of the dispensing tube of a flexible thermoformed dispensing package for flowable materials is provided with an enlarged safety tab that can be integrally formed with, or separately secured to the sealed closure portion, the enlarged safety tab being dimensioned and configured to avoid inadvertent ingestion by a human or small pet when the tab is removed to open the dispensing tube in preparation for dispensing the product. In addition to functioning as a “flag”, the surfaces of which can be printed with source-identifying indicia and other consumer information, the enlarged safety tab formed in an open-ended folded configuration and provided with interior fields of repositionable pressure sensitive adhesive, serves as a protective cover and seal when removed and placed over the open end of the dispensing tube to preserve any remaining material in the container portion of the package.

Chemical container
11492183 · 2022-11-08 · ·

Disclosed is a chemical container capable of discharging gas generated from a chemical by stably securing a discharge passage of the gas even when the posture or tilt of the chemical container is variously changed, i.e. when the chemical container is turned over or falls sideways, whereby it is possible to prevent an excessive increase in internal pressure of the chemical container due to generation of the gas. The chemical container includes a container body having a storage compartment configured to store a chemical, an exhaust port disposed at one side of the container body, the exhaust port being configured to connect the storage compartment and the outside of the container body to each other in such a manner that fluid movement therebetween is possible, an exhaust tube disposed in the storage compartment so as to be connected to the exhaust port in such a manner that fluid movement therebetween is possible, and an exhaust buoyancy unit. The exhaust buoyancy unit has a buoyancy body disposed in the storage compartment in the state of being connected to the exhaust tube so as to float on the chemical stored in the storage compartment, an exhaust channel provided inside the buoyancy body, the exhaust channel being configured to connect the storage compartment and the exhaust tube to each other in such a manner that fluid movement therebetween is possible, and a filter membrane coupled to the buoyancy body, the filter membrane being configured to transmit gas through the exhaust channel and to block the chemical, thereby preventing the chemical from passing therethrough.

Storage systems, methods and containers

A storage system is described where goods are stored in containers and the containers are stored in stacks. Above the stacks runs a grid network of tracks on which load handling devices run. The load handling devices take containers from the stacks and deposit then at alternative locations in the stacks or deposit then at stations where goods may be picked out. The containers comprise liners formed from flame retardant or flame suppressant material. Containers comprising liner means are used to store ignitable items within the storage system.

The bottle safety seal may comprise a safety seal that covers the top of a bottle. The safety seal may prevent contaminants from collecting on exposed non-vertical surfaces of the bottle. As non-limiting examples, the contaminants may be from storing the bottle in a warehouse or other storage area where the bottle may be exposed to dust, dirt, spilled liquids, and other substances. The safety seal may be separable from the bottle such that the safety seal may be removed from the bottle prior to pouring or drinking from the bottle. As non-limiting examples, the bottle may be a water bottle, a wine bottle, a soda bottle, or a juice bottle. The bottle safety seal may be particularly suitable for use on 5 gallon water cooler bottles which may present larger exposed surface areas and may spend longer periods of time in storage before being used.
