Container Assembly Having a Heat-Sealed Metal End, a Metal End Therefor, and a Method for Making Same
20180002064 · 2018-01-04 ·

A container assembly includes a container body having a side wall encircling an axis, and a metal end for attachment to an upper edge of the side wall via heat-sealing. The outer peripheral region is shaped prior to application to the container body such that an annular channel is defined between an inner chuck wall and an outer chuck wall of the metal end. The metal end is pushed straight onto the side wall such that the upper edge of the side wall is received into the channel The surfaces of the side wall and the opposing surfaces of the chuck walls have heat-sealable material thereon. The metal end is heated to melt and fuse the heat-sealable layers, thereby sealing the metal end onto the side wall. The metal end is shaped such that the free edge of the outer chuck wall is not exposed.

BOTTLE END, MIXING CONTAINER HAVING THE BOTTLE END, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE MIXING BOTTLE
20180009591 · 2018-01-11 ·

A mixing container and a method for the manufacturing thereof provide a mixing container which offers high pressure-resistance performance while allowing the sealing membrane to be easily broken when the containers are coupled together, by having the sealing membrane formed in an integrated manner with the metallic bottle end and arranging a breaking line on the sealing membrane. Also, the method for manufacturing a mixing container with which the time and effort required for manufacturing the mixing container may be reduced, to allow mass production at a low cost, as the holding body made from a synthetic resin material and the bottle end made from a metallic material are manufactured separately and subsequently seamed together.

Various aspects of the disclosure generally relate to a collapsible storage container with multiple sleeves. In some implementations a two-sleeve variant is described. In some implementations a three-sleeve variant is described. Both variants may be used to contain appropriately sized and shaped objects, for example bread, maps, posters, blueprints, plans, etc.

Tamper resistant device and methods of forming a tamper resistant device
11542068 · 2023-01-03 · ·

Tamper resistant systems and devices and methods of forming the same are disclosed. A tamper resistant system includes a container having a container body defining a cavity having a threaded opening therein, a threaded closure removably covering the threaded opening, and a frangible component including a length of material having a first end and a second end. The first end is integrated with the container body such that the frangible component and the container body have a single piece construction and the frangible component extends from the container body. The second end is coupled to the threaded closure. Subsequent removal of the threaded closure from the container causes damage to at least one of the frangible component, the threaded closure, and the container body. The frangible component, the threaded closure, and the container body are at least partially constructed of an environmentally friendly material.

METAL CONTAINER AND METAL CLOSURE THEREOF

Container (1) comprising a substantially tubular metal container body (2) having a top opening defined by an outwardly curled edge, and a bottom opening. The container further comprises a peelable lid (9) bonded to an upper surface of said curled edge to close said top opening in an airtight manner, the outermost edge of the peelable lid not extending beyond an outermost extent of said curled edge, and a metal closure (4) comprising a generally planar centre panel (8) and a downwardly extending sidewall (7) depending from a peripheral region of the centre panel and terminating with an inwardly or outwardly directed fold (12), and a plurality of features (5) pressed into the sidewall at respective circumferentially spaced locations between said peripheral region and the fold, wherein the radial inward extent of the features is greater than that of the fold. The closure and the container body have relative dimensions to allow the features to pass over said curled edge during closure and to be retained beneath the curled edge to resist removal of the closure.

DOUBLE WALL COMPOSITE DRUM ASSEMBLY AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
20230059443 · 2023-02-23 ·

The present disclosure concerns process for manufacturing a closed head composite drum assembly, comprising: providing an inner shell defining a material-receiving cavity forming a material-filling opening in the inner shell; rotomolding at least partially a closed head outer drum defining an inner shell-containing cavity, the closed head outer drum at least partially enclosing the inner shell; and forming a bung opening in the closed head outer drum substantially in register with the material-filling opening. It also concerns a double wall closed head drum assembly.
