Multi-reservoir liquid dispenser and associated methods
A liquid dispenser includes a housing configured to receive a liquid supply cartridge, and a reservoir disposed in the housing that holds a volume of the product. The reservoir includes an access port for receiving the liquid supply cartridge and placing the liquid supply cartridge and the reservoir in communication. A dosing tank is connected to the reservoir and configured to hold a metered volume of the product. A control valve is movable between an opened position and a closed position, wherein when the control valve is in the opened position, product in the dosing tank is permitted to flow from the liquid dispenser and product flow from the reservoir to the dosing tank is prevented, and when the control valve is in the closed position, product in the dosing tank is prevented from flowing from the liquid dispenser and product flow from the reservoir to the dosing tank is permitted.
Liquid Release Device
A hollow container is combined with a burstable envelope retaining a liquid agent. The container is designed to allow a user to open the envelope by bursting or likewise rupturing the envelope while it remains in the container. The design of the envelope provides a predictable bursting location and a lower bursting pressure of the envelope to provide a more controlled release of liquid agent. Bursting forces may be applied in any of a variety of ways just as by twisting or crushing. The design allows for desired use of beneficial envelope materials such as polyester films that are otherwise difficult to rupture.
Double-walled container
A double container includes: an inner container adapted to store a given content therein and having a neck formed on top thereof; an outer container adapted to accommodate at least a portion of the inner container therein; a neck cap coupled to the neck of the inner container and having at least a portion accommodated in the inner container; pump assemblies coupled to top of the outer container, detachably coupled to the outer peripheral surface of the neck cap, having at least portions accommodated in the neck cap and inserted inside the inner container, and adapted to discharge the content therefrom; and a nozzle adapted to be pressurized by a user to discharge the content transferred from the pump assemblies through a discharge hole.
Method for producing a cartridge and cartridge
A cartridge for a dispensing device contains at least one elongate film pouch, which is inherently non-rigid and which has a chamber for receiving a composition. The cartridge also contains a head part for interacting with the film pouch. The film pouch has an opening on a side facing the head part, which is closed by a cover. The cover has a predetermined breaking region. A method can be used for producing such a cartridge.
Refillable product containing dissolvable solid article
Disclosed is a refillable product that includes a container containing two or more first dissolvable solid articles. The solid articles are characterized by a maximum dimension D and a minimum dimension z. The maximum dimension for D ranges from 1 mm to 300 mm and the minimum dimension for z ranges from 0.5 mm to 150 mm. The ratio between D and z ranges from 1:1 to 300:1. The refillable product also includes indicia for a user to put the dissolvable solid articles and a liquid carrier into another container. This product can provide an environment friendly product. For example, by not containing any liquid during transportation, the product can reduce energy consumption during the transportation.

Apparatus for holding a food product, and allowing a user to consume the food product without contact
Apparatus for holding a food product and allowing a user to consume the food product without contact including a container. The container presents a base, a front wall, a rear wall, and sidewalls. The apparatus further includes a sleeve. The sleeve includes a top portion, a bottom portion, and sidewalls. The top portion, bottom portion, and sidewalls form an interior. The container stores a food product such as a sandwich and an article such as tissue paper. The sleeve slidably receives the container. A user slides open the container from the sleeve and removes the food product. Subsequently, the user places the food product through the interior with support from the front wall. The user slides the container in the interior from one end to another end of the sleeve while consuming the food product. The apparatus allows the user to consume the food product without contacting the food product.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR IMPROVED DISPENSING CONTROL DURING PLACEMENT OF VISCOUS MATERIAL
A resiliently deformable member for use in an apparatus for dispensing a viscous material from a container, such as an apparatus consisting of a container for holding the viscous material and a dispensing gun. The resiliently deformable member has a relaxed state and a compressed state. In use, the resiliently deformable member applies a force between the container and the dispensing gun to modulate the flow of the material from the container.
CAN AND AN URGING MEMBER THEREFOR
An urging member configured to constitute a base for a can, comprising a peripheral edge, at which the urging member is to be connected to a side wall of a can at one end thereof to form a semi-fabricated can; an urgeable area surrounding having a normal state in which at least a central part of the area is outwardly convexly curved; and a pattern of elements formed in the urging member and located between the peripheral edge and a central axis thereof. The elements comprise at least one strengthening rib extending along the peripheral edge and protruding in the outward direction of the urging member, and urgeability-providing elements located between the central axis and the at least one strengthening rib. The urgeability-providing elements are angularly spaced from each other about the central axis, being radially spaced from the strengthening rib and being configured to provide the urgeable area with the ability to be repeatably elastically displaceable in an inward direction, upon the manual application of an urging force to the urgeable area by at least one finger of a user, thereby changing the state of the urgeable area from a normal state in which the central portion of the area is disposed at a first location with respect to the reference plane, to a deformed state in which the central portion is disposed at a second location spaced from the reference plane to a greater distance than in the normal state; and in the outward direction upon release of the urging force, thereby changing the state of the urgeable area from the deformed state to the normal state.
