Carpenter's accordion
A carpenter's accordion is disclosed herein. The carpenter's accordion is a portable, compactable, and free-standing tool that may be advantageously used in combination with a table saw to increase the length of stock that one user can cut with a blade. Generally, the more sections that comprise the carpenter's accordion, the greater the lengths of stock one user will be able to cut using a table saw or other similar tool in combination with the accordion.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes: an apparatus body; an image forming unit that forms a toner image on a recording medium; a first transport part that transports the recording medium to the image forming unit along a feed path extending from one side toward the other side in the horizontal direction, the feed path being a path along which the recording medium transported by the first transport part passes, and that includes a portion extending toward the one side beyond the image forming unit; and a second transport part that transports the recording medium from the image forming unit to the outside of the apparatus body along a discharge path extending from the other side toward one side in the horizontal direction and that includes a portion extending toward the one side beyond the image forming unit, the discharge path and the feed path at least partially overlapping each other in the vertical direction.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a first roller, a second roller arranged downstream of the first roller in a sheet conveyance direction, the second roller including a rotation shaft and a roller body supported by the rotation shaft, a third roller arranged downstream of the second roller in the sheet conveyance direction, a first support member configured to rotatably support the first roller, a second support member configured to rotatably support the third roller, and a bearing member configured to rotatably support an end portion of the rotation shaft. The bearing member includes a first positioning portion configured to position an end portion of the first support member and a second positioning portion configured to position an end portion of the second support member.
Web processing with semi-rotary accumulator
Various apparatus embodiments include first, second, third and fourth idler shafts, and further include a first movable idler shaft having a first movable axis that is movable between a first axis position and a second axis position, and a second movable idler shaft having a second movable axis that is movable between a third axis position and fourth axis position. At least one linkage connects the first movable idler shaft to the second movable idler shaft. A motor linkage connects the at least one linkage to at least one motor for providing simultaneous movement of the first and second movable idler shafts.

Sheet loading apparatus and image forming apparatus including the same
A sheet loading apparatus includes: a sheet loading portion that includes a bottom portion on which a sheet is loaded; and a regulating mechanism that butts an end edge of the sheet extending in a first direction to limit a position of the sheet in a second direction. The regulating mechanism includes: a guide portion that is formed on the bottom portion to extend in the second direction; and a limiting member slidable along the guide portion. The guide portion includes: first engaged portions that are formed at predetermined intervals along the second direction; and a second engaged portion that is formed continuously along the second direction. The limiting member includes: a pair of engaging portions that are composed of: a first engagement portion able to engage with one of the first engaged portions; and a second engagement portion which engages with the second engaged portion.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
This image forming apparatus (100) is equipped with: a document set detector (3a, S1, S5); a document size detector (3a, S2, S3, S5); a manual feeder (6) with a manual feed tray (61) that is not equipped with a sensor for detecting the size of set manually-fed paper; a printer (5) that performs printing on the basis of image data; an operation panel (4) that receives setting for feeding paper from the manual feeder (6); and a controller (7) that recognizes the size of a set document and performs manually-fed-paper automatic setting for recognizing the recognized size of the set document as the size of the manually-fed paper.

Paper guide mechanism
A paper guide mechanism that facilitates operation without easily allowing deviation of a wide guide unit. In a paper guide mechanism (10), a position-holding member (13) holds the widthwise position of a widthwise moving member (12) by bringing a first fixing-side locking section (11e) and a first moving-side locking section (13d) into contact with each other on a surface perpendicular to a direction of movement of the widthwise moving member (12) even in a case in which the widthwise moving member (12) is about to move in any direction along the width direction. The position-holding member (13) has a movement-restricting section (13e). The movement-restricting section (13e) restricts the movement of the position-holding member (13) in an orientation in which the first fixing-side locking section (11e) and the first moving-side locking section (13d) are moved away from each other by bringing the position-holding member (13) into contact with a second surface of a supporting member (11) on a side opposite to a first surface.
Paper guiding mechanism and image forming device
This paper guiding mechanism (110) includes a base member (1) including a placing surface (11) for placing papers (200) thereon and a base-side lock portion (12) and a paper guide member (2), while the paper guide member includes a paper aligning portion (21) coming into contact with the papers, a guide-side lock portion (22) locked to the base-side lock portion, and a lever portion (23) canceling a locked state of the guide-side lock portion with respect to the base-side lock portion and maintaining an unlocked state when the paper aligning portion is slidingly moved.
