A sheet folding apparatus includes: a rotor having a first peripheral surface and a second peripheral surface with a radius smaller than that of the first peripheral surface and configured to convey a sheet; and a guide member configured to be movable between a first position where it guides a sheet being conveyed by the rotor and a second position retracting from the first position. The guide member is disposed so as to move from the second position to the first position while passing within the rotation locus of the first peripheral surface of the rotor.

A FW apparatus includes a bobbin driving unit, a winding device, and a tension applying device. A FW method using the FW apparatus includes a temporary suspending step of temporarily suspending operation of the winding device in the middle of winding the fed-out fiber portion around the workpiece. In the temporary suspending step, the length of the feeding path is increased by moving the pressing member while causing the pressing member to press against the fed-out fiber portion in a state of continuing to feed out the fed-out fiber portion from the fiber roll portion.

IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes: an apparatus body; an image forming unit that forms a toner image on a recording medium; a first transport part that transports the recording medium to the image forming unit along a feed path extending from one side toward the other side in the horizontal direction, the feed path being a path along which the recording medium transported by the first transport part passes, and that includes a portion extending toward the one side beyond the image forming unit; and a second transport part that transports the recording medium from the image forming unit to the outside of the apparatus body along a discharge path extending from the other side toward one side in the horizontal direction and that includes a portion extending toward the one side beyond the image forming unit, the discharge path and the feed path at least partially overlapping each other in the vertical direction.
SHEET STACKER AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet stacker includes a sheet stacking portion, a pair of sheet restrictors, a sheet feeder, and a position detector. A bundle of sheets is stacked on the sheet stacking portion in a stacking direction, and the sheet stacking portion moves in the stacking direction. The pair of sheet restrictors move in a width direction to regulate a position of the bundle of sheets in the width direction. The sheet feeder feeds a top sheet of the bundle of sheets at a sheet feeding position in a sheet feeding direction. The sheet feeding position is disposed at a top of the bundle of sheets in the stacking direction. The position detector is disposed between the pair of sheet restrictors in the width direction and above the sheet feeding position in the stacking direction. The position detector detects a position of the pair of sheet restrictors in the width direction.

The invention relates to a method for applying stamped components (8) to holes (15) in surfaces (12) by a stamped component strip (10) having the stamped components (8) being unrolled from a stamped component strip roll (2), a starting position of one of the stamped components (8) being detected by means of a first sensor (6), the stamped component strip (10) being driven by means of a drive until the stamped component (8) has reached the starting position, the first sensor (6) then transmitting a stop signal and the drive being stopped and by means of a second sensor (7) the holes (15) in the surface (12) being detected, and, when one of the holes (15) is detected, a start signal being transmitted and the drive being started and the stamped component (8) being released from the stamped component strip (10) and applied to the hole (15).

A control unit (216) is interfaced with the sensor members (213, 214) of the cutting station (13) and the positioning actuators (27), to position the guide arms (31) parallel to the rotation axis (C-C) of the respective winding mandrel (51) as a function of the position of the corresponding cutting member (201, 203).
