Unit Cell Preparation Apparatus and Method
An apparatus for preparing a unit cell is provided. The apparatus includes a lower separator reel from which a lower separator sheet is unwound, a first nozzle configured to apply an adhesive to at least a portion of one surface facing upward of the unwound lower separator sheet, an upper separator reel from which an upper separator sheet is unwound, a second nozzle configured to apply an adhesive to at least a portion of one surface facing upward of the unwound upper separator sheet, and a first nip roll configured to turn opposite surfaces of the upper separator sheet upside down so that the one surface of the upper separator sheet to which the adhesive has been applied is directed downward and adheres to an upper surface of a first electrode stably placed on the one surface of the lower separator sheet.
Method and device for handling sanitary articles
A method for handling (flat) objects (10), in particular sanitary articles such as diapers, sanitary napkins or the like, wherein the objects (10) are conveyed along a transport section (12) in a product flow and are then put together in a grouping station to form groups of objects (10). The objects (10) are introduced into the product flow in the region of an inlet station (23) before the objects (10) are put together to form groups.

Apparatus for performing binding processing on sheets and post-processing apparatus provided with the same
In performing press binding with a pair of pressurizing surfaces opposed to each other with sheets nipped therebetween, one of the pressurizing surfaces is configured to shift to positions relatively to the other pressurizing surface, and a shift section is provided in the pressurizing surface that shifts to positions. An apparatus for applying narrow pressure to a plurality of sheets with a pair of pressurizing surfaces to perform press binding is provided with first and second pressurizing surfaces opposed to each other with sheets nipped therebetween, and a pressurization driver that shifts a position of at least one of the first and second pressurizing surfaces from a waiting position separated to an actuation position for coming into press-contact.

AUTOMATED FABRIC PICKING
Aspects of automated fabric picking are described. In one embodiment, a system includes a textile cutter including a tabletop upon which textile panels can be cut out from a textile sheet, a textile panel picker, and a computing device. The textile panel picker includes a flexible transport tube, a transport tube transfer arm to position the flexible transport tube over the tabletop and the textile panels, a textile hopper to collect the textile panels, and a pneumatic pump assembly to evacuate air from the textile hopper and through the flexible transport tube. The computing device identifies and tracks the textile panels on the tabletop, directs the transport tube transfer arm to position the flexible transport tube over the textile panels, and directs the pneumatic pump assembly to generate suction to pull the textile panels through the flexible transport tube and into the textile hopper.
PRINTING CONTROL APPARATUS, BINDING CONTROL APPARATUS, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PRINTING CONTROL APPARATUS, AND PROGRAM THEREFOR
A printing control apparatus configured to control a binding unit configured to perform a binding processing for binding sheets without using a staple includes a control unit that controls the biding unit to divide sheets subjected to printing into sheet groups in units of a number of sheets bindable by the binding unit, and to apply the binding processing to each of sheet groups or controls another binding unit to bind the sheets subjected to printing using a staple.

Method for producing collectible cards
Methods and systems of producing collectible cards are disclosed. An example method includes producing a first stack of cards including a first card type and a second card type from a single substrate sheet, separating the first stack of cards into a first sub-stack and a second sub-stack. The first sub-stack includes the first card type and the second sub-stack includes the second card type. The example method includes comparing a first top card of the first sub-stack to a first reference card and, based on the first top card being substantially similar to the first reference card, automatically transferring the first sub-stack to a first tray designated to receive the first card type.
