High friction and wear resistant elevator sheave liner
An illustrative example embodiment of an elevator sheave liner includes a liner body having an inner surface configured to be received against a sheave and an outer surface configured to engage an elevator tension member. The liner body comprises a polymer material and a plurality of wear resistance particles in the composite material. The wear resistance particles are nanoparticles or microparticles. At least some of the wear resistance particles establish a traction characteristic of the outer surface of the sheave liner.
Mine shaft conveyance safety brake
The disclosure relates to a mine shaft conveyance safety brake for controlling the rate of deceleration of a free-falling conveyance, operating within or upon fixed shaft guides, in a vertical, substantially vertical or inclined mine shaft. The safety brake includes an activation system, one or more guide clamp assemblies operable for locking onto one or more shaft guides, one or more braking assemblies and one or more brake paths attached upon the conveyance. Upon detection of a conveyance suspension failure or slack rope condition associated with a free-falling or obstructed condition of the conveyance, the activation system is triggered, causing each guide clamp assembly to self-lock onto a shaft guide. Upon further downward travel of the conveyance, the braking assemblies travel upwardly upon the brake paths, generating increasing braking forces in a controlled manner until the conveyance comes to a controlled stop. The safety brake is purely mechanical in nature, as there are no electronics, electro-mechanical controls or hydraulic systems involved.
Mine vertical shaftlifting apparatus, mine vertical shaft lifting system and control method therefor
A hoisting apparatus for a mine vertical shaft, a hoisting system for a mine vertical shaft and a controlling method thereof are provided. The hoisting apparatus includes a driving device provided at a wellhead and a guiding device provided in a vertical shaft. A position of the guiding device corresponds to a position of the driving device and a transmission rope is wound around the driving device and the guiding device. Moreover, the driving device is drivingly connected to the guiding device via the transmission rope; and a tension regulating device is provided in the vertical shaft. The guiding device is movably provided at the tension regulating device that is for regulating a distance between the driving device and the guiding device. The tension regulating device controls a tension of the transmission rope by regulating the distance between the driving device and the guiding device.
Traction sheave, pulley component and elevator having same
The present utility model provides a traction sheave, including: a traction sheave body, formed of several arc-shaped traction sheave sections that are connected to each other; and connecting portions, disposed at two ends of each traction sheave section along a lateral surface of the traction sheave section, where the connecting portions at the two ends of each traction sheave section fit each other. The traction sheave according to the present utility model has relatively high replaceability, is very convenient to assemble and disassemble, requires relatively low costs of human and material resources and time, and meanwhile can still ensure high reliability of working of the traction sheave.
Modular elevator sheave assembly
An illustrative example embodiment of an elevator sheave assembly includes a plurality of polymer rings that are secured together. The plurality of polymer rings includes at least two polymer rings that each have an outer circumferential surface that defines a portion of a belt guiding surface adjacent a flange at a longitudinal end of the sheave assembly. The at least two polymer rings each include a bearing supported inside the ring.
Diverting pulley adapter
A diverting pulley adapter is provided for converting an existing pulley, the adapter enabling a maintenance of an existing running path for diverting a suspension, like an elevator-rope or an elevator-belt, the adapter having a base with at least one fixing component for anchoring the adapter, at which base a set of pulleys is provided. The adapter includes a first deflection pulley being mounted rotatable on its rotation axis, and at least a further second deflection pulley being mounted rotatable on its rotation axis, wherein the rotation axes of the pulleys are interspaced, respectively. The positions of those pulleys forming the set of pulleys are adjustable in view of their fixation, respectively, and symmetrically in relation to the fixing component.
