Chain link adapter

A system for providing safety to a hoist having a hook and a chain. The system includes a safety cable threaded through an opening of the hook or an object to be lifted. The system includes a connector connected to the safety cable and the chain such that when the hook and the chain of the hoist are disconnected, the object remains connected to the chain via the connector and safety cable. The connector includes a base portion having a chain opening configured to receive the chain, and a first cable opening configured to receive the safety cable. The connector includes a top portion configured to be coupled to the base portion and cover a portion of the chain opening such that the base portion and the top portion, when coupled together, remain at a substantially fixed position along the length of the chain.

A cableway carriage including: a base member 1; a main cable braking member 10 that has a braking face that comes into contact with the main cable and that is secured to the base member; a first lever 20 that has a first fulcrum serving as a center of rotation and secured to the base member, a first lever braking face provided in a position facing the braking face, a biasing member that biases the first lever braking face in a direction of separation from the braking face, and a drive pulley capable of applying a force in the direction in which the first lever braking face is brought close to the braking face by the tensile force of the rope, and a second lever 30 that has a second fulcrum secured to the base member and serving as a center of rotation.

WIRE ROPE DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE THAT CAN BE ENGAGED USING BATTERY PACKS

The present invention relates to a wire rope diagnostic device that is capable of being fastened or unfastened by means of battery packs, and more specifically, to a wire rope diagnostic device for performing safety diagnosis of a wire rope used for a lifting device such as a crane, an elevator, a water gate, and the like in real time that is capable of being fixedly fastened by means of battery packs so that it can be simply installed and separated and allow the battery packs to be easily exchanged.

Four-dimensional crane rail measurement

A method and system for conducting a non-contact survey of an overhead crane runway system using a survey apparatus that is alternately located in the crane bay or on a crane bridge girder. Disclosed more particularly are a method and system for testing an overhead crane runway beam 3D alignment or an overhead crane runway rail 3D alignment using a 3D laser scanner.

Fibre rope and hoisting system including such a fibre rope

There is described a hoisting system and method of lifting that make use of a particular fibre rope. The fibre rope includes a plurality of magnets that are embedded within the fibre rope and spaced apart along the rope with a known axial distance between the magnets. The system may include a fibre rope hoisting speed sensor, and a magnetic field sensor that can sense the presence of the magnetic field of the embedded magnets. Using the sensors, the hoisting speed of the rope may be determined by: measuring the time between the passing of consecutive magnets by using the magnetic field sensor; calculating the distance between consecutive magnets using the hoisting speed sensor and the measured time between the passing of the consecutive magnets; and comparing the calculated distance between the magnets with an original, predefined distance between the magnets.

The handrail device includes: a pair of first poles; a pair of second poles; a first main rope stretched between the pair of first poles; a second safety line stretched between the pair of second poles; a first pole support member and a second pole support member that support the first poles and the second poles, respectively; first and second connection member; a first stay rope stretched between the first pole and the second connection member; and a second stay rope stretched between the second pole and the first connection member. The first pole support member and the first connection member are fixed to a common first fixation member, and a second pole support member and the second connection member are fixed to a common second fixation member.

STABILIZER MAT TEST SYSTEM AND METHODS
20230092856 · 2023-03-23 ·

A system and methods for stabilizer mat testing comprising a compressible material element and platen elements. Two stabilizer mats are positioned on opposing surfaces of the compressible material element and located between the platen elements. A force is supplied to the test system, i.e., a fluid supplied by a fluid supply component to the compressible material element, a load supplied by a load supply component to the compressible material element, or both. Displacement measurements from the stabilizer mat are obtained and evaluated. Stabilizer mat testing may be a standardized method used to validate design and manufacture, to test a simulated use that may occur in the field, to monitor life cycle, or to certify performance.
