ROTATOR FOR A TOOL
The invention relates to a rotator (100) for a tool, such as a as a jib-carried tool. The rotator (100) comprises: a stator (102); a rotor (104) rotatably arranged inside the stator (102); a bearing (112) configured to carry an external load (L); a lower link (150) for attaching a tool (200) to the rotator (100); and a load cell (180) arranged between the bearing (112) and the lower link (150), wherein the load cell (180) is configured to indicate the external load (L). Thereby, a rotator (100) compact in its axial extension can be provided.
Attachment for making up or breaking out pipe
An attachment is described that is configured for attachment to an arm of a piece of heavy construction equipment. The attachment is configured to rotate a section of pipe during break out (i.e. disconnection or disassembly) from another section of pipe and/or make up (i.e. connection or assembly) with another section of pipe. The attachment is configured to break the joint or torque the joint to a predetermined torque value, unthread or thread pipe, and lift the pipe under the power of the heavy construction equipment.
ROTATOR FOR A TOOL
The invention relates to a rotator (100) for a tool (200). The rotator (100) comprises a stator (102) and a rotor (104) rotatably arranged inside the stator (102). The rotor (104) comprises a radial bearing (122) having a first axial extension (a1) in the rotator (100). The rotator (100) comprises a separate bearing (112) arranged radially outside the rotor (104). The separate bearing (112) is configured to carry an external load of the rotator (100). The rotator (100) further comprises an electrical swivel (108) and/or an angle meter (116) arranged inside the rotor (102), and the electrical swivel (108) and/or the angle meter (116) at least partially extends axially in the first axial extension (a1) in the rotator (100). Thereby, a compact rotator design is provided.
Truss hinge with variations in angular settings
A truss hinge that includes a number of different labeled parts, where connections between the two different parts can constrain the truss to different angles.
Truss hinge with variations in angular settings
A truss hinge that includes a number of different labeled parts, where connections between the two different parts can constrain the truss to different angles.
Cross-link assembly for a dangling worktool for a machine
A cross-link assembly for a dangling worktool may include a frame configured to connect to a grapple, the frame having spaced apart arms; a pin movably engaged with the spaced apart arms, the pin having an abutment portion; and a lock member movably engaged with the frame. The lock member may be configured to engage with the abutment portion and have a lock portion configured to engage with a lock element provided on the grapple.
Extraction tongs with replaceable jaw tips
Extraction tongs with replaceable jaw tips include jaw tips with mating gripping projections. Each extraction tong includes a plurality of inward extending teeth. A thickness of the extraction tong is reduced at a bottom to form a jaw tip extension. A substantially triangular projection extends outward from opposing sides of the jaw tip extension. A plurality of holes are formed through the jaw tip extension. Each jaw tip includes a tong slot, which is sized to receive the thickness of the jaw tip extension. A substantially triangular slot is formed in opposing walls of the tong slot to receive the two substantially triangular projections. A plurality of counterbore holes are formed in opposing sides of the jaw tip. A first lengthwise projection is formed on a gripping surface of the first jaw tip. A pair of second lengthwise projections are formed on a gripping surface of the second jaw tip.
Self-powered grappler assembly
A grappler assembly having an assembly framework and a grappler device that is supported by the assembly framework. The grappler device has at least one pair of grappler arms that engages with a desired section of a tree to be removed. The grappler assembly incorporating its own independent power module for supplying hydraulic power to the grappler device and controlling operation of the at least one pair of grappler arms, and the power module is mounted solely to the assembly framework.
Clamshell bucket assembly
A dredging bucket having a head subassembly including an inner rotatable head and an outer head angularly supported by the inner head between level and tilted orientations. First and second opposing bucket halves supported by the outer head and pivotally actuating between closed and opened positions. A pair of T-links incorporated into spaced apart and coaxial pivot locations defined between the bucket halves, each of the T-links having a central stopping bar which, upon the bucket halves rotating to a maximum degree associated with the opened position, contacting end locations defined in upper edge profiles of the bucket halves in order to prevent further opening rotation.
JOINT ELEMENT PROVIDED WITH SWING DAMPENER BRAKE, JOINT ASSEMBLY COMPRISING THE JOINT ELEMENT, AND MACHINE COMPRISING THE JOINT ASSEMBLY
A joint element provided with a swing dampener element and comprising a first joint part, a second joint part, and a swing dampener brake. The second joint part comprises a second end part which is detachably fixed to a first end part of the second joint part by a joint part coupling which is adapted to allow the second end part to be moved in an axial direction to a detached position in relation to the first end part, the detached position allowing replacement of active components of the swing dampener brake while the first end part remains bearing-mounted to the first joint part, the active components of the swing dampener brake comprising at least one first brake disc member and at least one second brake disc member.
