Device for treating container closures
A device for treating container closures, for example for disinfecting container closures in a beverage bottling plant, includes a transport disk, rotatable about a vertical rotational axis, for transporting the container closures, and a helical closure guide, arranged above the transport disk, for laterally guiding the container closures, wherein the closure guide has a ceiling guide for guiding the container closures from above.
CAP STERILIZATION DEVICE AND CONTENT FILLING SYSTEM
A cap sterilization device (50) includes a sterilant spraying chamber (52) in which a sterilant is sprayed onto a cap (33) and an air-rinsing chamber (53) in which the cap (33) onto which the sterilant has been sprayed in the sterilant spraying chamber (52) is subjected to air-rinsing. A sterilant spraying wheel (74) that conveys the cap (33) while rotating the cap (33) is disposed in the sterilant spraying chamber (52). An air-rinsing wheel (75) that conveys the cap (33) onto which the sterilant has been sprayed while rotating the cap (33) is disposed in the air-rinsing chamber (53). The air-rinsing chamber (53) is disposed vertically above the sterilant spraying chamber (52).
CAP STERILIZATION DEVICE AND CONTENT FILLING SYSTEM
A cap sterilization device (50) includes an introduction unit (52), a sterilant spraying unit (53) that sprays a sterilant onto a cap (33) supplied from the introduction unit (52), an air-rinsing unit (54) that subjects the cap (33) onto which the sterilant has been sprayed by the sterilant spraying unit (53) to air-rinsing, and a conveyance guide (70) that is disposed to extend successively through the introduction unit (52), the sterilant spraying unit (53), and the air-rinsing unit (54) and along which the cap (33) is conveyed from the introduction unit (52) toward the air-rinsing unit (54). The air-rinsing unit (54) is provided with an air-rinsing nozzle (83) that supplies hot air to the cap (33). The air-rinsing nozzle (83) is disposed such that a distal end (83a) thereof is in front of a proximal end (83b) thereof in a conveying direction of the conveyance guide (70).
DEVICE FOR REMOVING DUST FROM CLOSURES BY IONIZATION
A device for removing dust from closures which are capable of circulating in a chute extending along a longitudinal axis (y-y′), includes a suction system arranged around the chute and are capable of sucking up the dissociated dust from the closures, and including at least one ionization bar extending longitudinally alongside the chute.
System and method for independently routing vehicles and delivering containers and closures to unit operation systems
A system and method for independently routing vehicles and delivering containers and closures to unit operation stations are disclosed. The containers and closures can, in some cases, be transported on the same vehicle. In other cases, the containers and closures can be transported on different vehicles.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLED CONTAINER HEADSPACE ADJUSTMENT
In some embodiments, a sealing and pressure dosing apparatus may be provided. The sealing and pressure dosing apparatus may include a sealing machine having one or more of a driven turret, a sealing head, a pressure sealing member, and a pressure sealing chamber. The sealing and pressure dosing apparatus may also include a pressure dosing system which may be integrated with the sealing machine.
Cap sterilizer, content filling system, cap sterilization method, and content filling method
A cap sterilizer (50) includes an infeed chamber (52), a sterilant atomizing chamber (53), and an air rinse chamber (54). At least the infeed chamber (52) and the air rinse chamber (54) are exhausted. Both an exhaust pressure (E2) in the infeed chamber (52) and an exhaust pressure (E4) in the air rinse chamber are higher than an exhaust pressure (E3) in the sterilant atomizing chamber (53), or the sterilant atomizing chamber (53) is not exhausted.
Compact Pill Bottle Cap Requiring Biometric Authentication for Removal
A pill bottle cap provides access to authorized users using a biometric authentication feature. The pill bottle cap broadly includes: a shroud; a plurality of clamp members, each movably mounted to the shroud; a drive member interconnected with each of the clamp members to cause the clamp members to move in a first direction when the drive member is actuated in a first direction, and to cause the clamp members to move in a second direction when the drive member is actuated in a second direction; an actuator configured to actuate the drive member to selectively move in each of the first and second directions; and biometric identification module coupled to the actuator, and configured to activate the actuator to cause the selective movement upon identification of an authorized user. Each of the components are configured and positioned to minimize a height and a volume of the pill bottle cap.
