An apparatus and method are provided to facilitate horse riding. The apparatus includes a line that defines an opening sized to receive a head of the horse. The apparatus also includes one or more tips operatively connected to the line and oriented inward from the line into the opening. Upon positioning the head of the horse through the opening the one or more tips are positioned to engage a body of the horse. The method includes providing the apparatus and passing, the opening defined by the line, over the head of the horse. The method also includes passing, the rein, through openings defined by rings that are operatively connected to the line. The method also includes actuating the line to engage the horse to facilitate movement of the horse.

The lunging tool is configured to attach to a harness or halter on one end and a lunging line or rope on the other end to enable a trainer to lead the animal by both pushing and pulling on the animal. The length of the stiffening component of the improved lunging tool prevents entanglement with the animal's legs if the trainer drops the improved lunging tool.

The grazing restrictor is formed from an elastic material capable of laying flat in a first configuration and being folded into the shape of a muzzle in a second configuration.

A neuro-muscular rehabilitation device for quadruped animal, specifically canine and equine animal. The device providing mild compression upon the contacted muscle groups to facilitate tension force transfer between moving parts of the animal.

There is disclosed a control device for an equine, comprising a hood adapted to be positioned over a head of the equine, the hood having a pair of eye openings to accommodate the equine's eyes; a retractable cup member mounted at least partially about the eye openings of the hood; and an activation device mounted on said hood so as to be activated by a rider of the equine to move the retractable cup member between a non-activated state and an activated state; wherein when the retractable cup member is in the non-activated state the retractable cup member does not substantially restrict the field of vision of the equine and when the retractable cup member is in the activated state the retractable cup member restricts the field of vision of the equine.

A horse training aid comprises a stem running from the girth to a location under the head. A coupling rope is trained through a lateral coupler wheel at the outer end of the stem. The overall length of the aid from the girth to the mouth bits or bridle prevents excessive lifting of the horses head, but offers insignificant resistance to turning of the head as the coupling rope slides on the wheel. With the training aid the horse is encouraged to maintain the correct head position, and this allows optimum muscle development.
