GRAPHENE BASED GROWING MEDIUM AND METHOD
The present invention provides for a growing medium having a mix of soil, graphene, and/or graphene oxide. In at least one example, soil is combined with single or few layer graphene. In another example, the soil is combined with single or few layer graphene, including graphene sheets, and graphene oxide. The growing medium has been shown to increase plant growth while providing for growing medium aeration, increased water retention, and increased nutrient loading and release.

Nutrient extraction and recovery device for isolation and separation of target products from animal produced waste streams
The present invention provides for nutrient extraction and recovery devices that use the Donnan Membrane Principle (DMP) to cause spontaneous separation of dissolved ions along electrochemical potential gradients, wherein anions and cations such as H.sub.2PO.sub.4.sup.−, HPO.sub.4.sup.2−, PO.sub.4.sup.3−, Mg.sup.2+, Ca.sup.2+, NH.sub.4.sup.+, and K.sup.+ are moved from manure containing waste streams through cation and anion exchange membranes into a recovery stream thereby precipitating target compounds including but not limited to struvite, potassium struvite and hydroxyapatite.

IMPROVEMENTS IN FOLIAR FERTILIZERS
The present invention relates to a foliar fertilizer composition comprising at least one fertilizer and one or more of sun-blocking compounds chosen from the group of kaolin, bentonite, calcium carbonate and organic compounds that block UV radiation. Preferably, the sun-blocking compound is an organic compound that blocks UV radiation, and may be selected from the group of benzophenone type compounds, benzimidazole type compounds, hydroxybenzoyl benzoate type compounds, benzotriazol type compounds, cinnamido type compounds, flavonoids, antioxidants or lignosulfonates.
IMPROVEMENTS IN FOLIAR FERTILIZERS
The present invention relates to a foliar fertilizer composition comprising at least one fertilizer and one or more of sun-blocking compounds chosen from the group of kaolin, bentonite, calcium carbonate and organic compounds that block UV radiation. Preferably, the sun-blocking compound is an organic compound that blocks UV radiation, and may be selected from the group of benzophenone type compounds, benzimidazole type compounds, hydroxybenzoyl benzoate type compounds, benzotriazol type compounds, cinnamido type compounds, flavonoids, antioxidants or lignosulfonates.

A dry and solid fertiliser in the form of discreet particles is provided. The particles of the dry and solid fertiliser comprise a homogenous mixture of organic and inorganic materials. The inorganic material comprises at least one of the NPKS nutrients. The organic material comprises a carbon-labile substantially sterile product of organic waste.
