A polymer composition is disclosed that comprises a polymer matrix containing at least one thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer and at least one hollow inorganic filler having a dielectric constant of about 3.0 or less at a frequency of 100 MHz wherein the weight ratio of the at least one thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer to the at least one hollow inorganic filler is from about 0.1 to about 10 and wherein the polymer composition exhibits a dielectric constant of about 4 or less and a dissipation factor of about 0.02 or less, as determined at a frequency of 10 GHz.

A liquid crystal polymer film that includes a liquid crystal polymer having an endothermic peak temperature that exceeds 330° C., the endothermic peak temperature being a temperature resulting from when the liquid crystal polymer is heated to 400° C. in an inert atmosphere, then cooled to room temperature at a temperature decreasing rate of 40° C./min or more, and measured using a differential scanning calorimeter while being heated again at a temperature increasing rate of 40° C./min.

The present invention relates to a process for continuous production of partly crystalline polycondensate pellet material, comprising the steps of forming a polycondensate melt into pellet material; separating the liquid cooling medium from the pellet material in a first treatment space, wherein the pellets after exit from the first treatment space exhibit a temperature T.sub.GR, and crystallizing the pellet material in a second treatment space, wherein in the second treatment space fluidized bed conditions exist, and in the second treatment space the pellets are heated by supply of energy from the exterior by means of a process gas.

Articles Made from Hydrophilic Thermoplastic Polyurethane Compositions
An article is prepared by injection molding, wherein the article is formed from a hydrophilic thermoplastic polyurethane composition, wherein the thermoplastic polyurethane composition comprises the reaction product of a hydroxyl terminated polyol intermediate component, an aliphatic isocyanate component, and, optionally, a chain extender component. For injection molding, the hydrophilic thermoplastic polyurethane has a crystallization temperature measured by dynamic scanning calorimetry of at least 75° C.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LCP FILM FOR CIRCUIT SUBSTRATE AND T-DIE MELT-EXTRUDED LCP FILM FOR CIRCUIT SUBSTRATE
Provided is a method for manufacturing an LCP film for a circuit substrate capable of achieving an LCP film for a circuit substrate having a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and excellent dimensional stability, without excessively impairing excellent basic performance possessed by the liquid crystal polyester, such as mechanical characteristics, electrical characteristics, and heat resistance. The method for manufacturing an LCP film for a circuit substrate at least comprising: a composition provision step of providing an LCP resin composition at least containing 100 parts by mass of a liquid crystal polyester and 1 to 20 parts by mass of a polyarylate; a film forming step of T-die melt-extruding the LCP resin composition to form a T-die melt-extruded LCP film having a coefficient of linear thermal expansion (α2) in a TD direction of 50 ppm/K or more; and a pressurizing and heating step of subjecting the T-die melt-extruded LCP film to pressure and heat treatment to obtain an LCP film for a circuit substrate having a coefficient of linear thermal expansion (α2) in the TD direction of 16.8±12 ppm/K.
Amorphous polyester composition and method of making
An amorphous polyester or copolyester composition comprises the reaction product of a crystalline or semicrystalline polyester or copolyester, optionally derived from a recycled waste stream, at least one diol or aromatic diacid or an ester of a diacid or a hydroxycarboxylic acid or a lactone or a dianhydride, and a catalyst, wherein the amorphous composition has a weight average molecular weight of at least 10,000 g/mol (polystyrene equivalent molecular weight) as measured by gel permeation chromatography.

A toner contains a crystalline polyester resin, a non-crystalline polyester resin A having a melting temperature ranging between 99° C. to 108° C., a non-crystalline polyester resin B having a melting temperature ranging between 140° C. to 150° C., an ester wax, and a colorant. A ratio of the crystalline polyester resin is 5% mass to 15% mass to a total T of the crystalline polyester resin, the non-crystalline polyester resin A, the non-crystalline polyester resin B, the ester wax, and the colorant. A ratio of the non-crystalline polyester resin A to the total T is between 50% mass to 60% mass. A ratio of the non-crystalline polyester resin B to the total T is between 20% mass to 30% mass.
Method for manufacturing wholly aromatic liquid-crystalline polyester fiber with enhanced spinnability
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a wholly aromatic liquid-crystalline polyester fiber with enhanced spinnability, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a wholly aromatic liquid-crystalline polyester fiber including: pelletizing a resin manufactured by adding 1.08 equivalents to 1.12 equivalents of acetic anhydride to raw material monomers including hydroxy benzoic acid, hydroxy naphthoic acid, biphenol, terephthalic acid, and isophthalic acid, followed by solid-phase polycondensation, and melt-spinning under oil conditions in which winding-up improving oil is diluted to 0.5% to 2% and silicone spinning oil for high temperature is diluted to 0.5% to 2%, respectively, with water as a solvent.
