The present invention concerns an extrudable, unexpanded paper pencil lead, comprising, by weight relative to the total weight of the lead, between 40 and 60%, and advantageously between 44 and 50%, of graphite; between 15 and 40%, and advantageously between 20 and 35%, of a polyolefin; between 5 and 15%, and advantageously between 6 and 10%, of a colourless mineral filler; between 5 and 20%, and advantageously between 5 and 15%, of carbon black coated with or mixed with a polyolefin wax or a polyolefin; between 0 and 16%, and advantageously between 5 and 15%, of an additive. It further concerns the paper pencil comprising a lead according to the invention.

A composition for eco-friendly crayon and a method for producing the eco-friendly crayon is disclosed. The composition comprises one or more non-toxic ingredients including soy wax, beeswax, and coloring pigment. The waxes are combined and heated in a heating chamber. The mixture is heated to form a halfway melted mixture. The coloring pigment is added to the halfway melted mixture and stirred until fully dissolved. The dissolved mixture is then poured into a mold and cooled. The cooled mixture is removed from the mold to prepare crayons for use. The crayons are made in a variety of shapes and sizes. The non-toxic ingredients are free of harmful components and prevent crayons from remaining in the user's hand. Further, a method used to prepare the non-toxic crayon uses waxes and coloring pigment without any additional ingredients, thereby providing softer crayons with high level of eco-friendly attributes.

The polymer also includes one or more terminal functional groups, such as an amino group, a glycidyl group, a carboxylic acid group, a (meth)acrylate group, a silane group, an isocyanate group, an acetoacetate group, a phenolic group, and a hydroxyl group. Functional groups, such as carboxylic acids, may also be grafted along the hydrophobic polymer chain. The polymer may be incorporated in curable compositions that optionally include one or more polymer resins having similar functional groups. Methods for preparing the curable polymer compositions are also provided. The curable or cured form of the polymer composition may be used in various products, such as a sealant, a coating, a caulk, an electric potting compound, a membrane, a sponge, a foam, an adhesive, or a propellant binder.

COLOUR PENCIL LEAD

The present invention concerns an extrudable, unexpanded colour pencil lead, comprising, by weight relative to the total weight of the lead: between 25 and 45%, and advantageously between 30 and 40%, of a polyolefin; between 25 and 50%, and advantageously between 30 and 40%, of a colourless mineral filler; between 4 and 20%, and advantageously between 5 and 15%, of a pigment coated with or mixed with a polyolefin wax; between 0 and 10%, and advantageously between 2 and 10%, of an additive, and between 10 and 30%, and advantageously between 15 and 25%, of stearate chosen from magnesium stearate, calcium stearate and the mixture of same. It further concerns the colour pencil comprising a lead according to the invention.
