PROTECTIVE HEMP OIL FOR WOOD TREATMENT METHOD
A protectant and sealant solution and method of use thereof, configured to protect wood from premature decay when disposed in contact with the earth. The solution is composed of processed hemp oil which is mixed with bio-diesel and other oils to form the protectant solution. The wood is then impregnated with the solution via pressure treatment within a retort cylinder. The solution is configured to protect utility poles and other wooden construction members which are known for prolonged contact with soil. The solution is designed as a safe replacement for pentachlorophenol solutions which have been found to be harmful to the soil and water table.

CONCENTRATED SURFACE TREATMENT PRODUCT AND METHOD OF PREPARING, PACKAGING AND APPLYING
One or more systems, products, and methods are disclosed to provide for a concentrated surface treatment product, and the preparation, packaging, and application of the concentrated surface treatment product. The product can be easily stored, transported, and packaged in a variety of means while mitigating separation of the components of the surface treatment. The concentrated surface treatment product may be diluted using a solvent such as water by the end-user, allowing a user to mix only what is needed for the project and store the rest with less risk of separation than conventional surface treatments. The concentrated surface treatment may be packaged in a polymer pouch, a dissolvable solid, or in a spray nozzle, and when exposed to water, the concentrated surface treatment mixes and may be applied to a target surface.

WATER REPELLENT COMPOSITIONS
A method of increasing water repellency of an organic porous substrate, such as wood, is provided. The method comprises applying a dispersion of inorganic nanoparticles in a liquid carrier onto a surface of the substrate. The liquid carrier is selected to evaporate substantially entirely at room temperature. For example, the liquid carrier may be selected so that at least 95% of the liquid carrier will evaporate at room temperature, preferably in a 24 hour period following application to the substrate surface.
Aqueous coating compositions for forming anti-grain-puffing coatings on wood substrate, aqueous paints and articles
The present invention relates to aqueous coating compositions for forming an anti-grain-puffing coating, aqueous primers comprising the aqueous coating composition, and articles comprising the anti-grain-puffing coating. In particular, the aqueous coating composition comprises: (a) an aqueous dispersion of polymeric particles, wherein the polymer particles comprise polymer having an anionic hydrophilic group on its molecule chain, and the aqueous dispersion of polymeric particles has a pH of less than 7.0; and (b) an aqueous dispersion of nano-silica.
