SURFACTANT, DISPERSION AND ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a surfactant comprising a grafted rosin ester which is a rosin ester grafted with a capped polyalkylene glycol, wherein the capped polyalkylene glycol is a polyalkylene glycol capped by an alkyl ether and an aqueous dispersion consisting of an aqueous phase and resin particles dispersed in the aqueous phase, wherein the dispersion comprises the surfactant according to the invention.
Thermosetting compositions and forming three-dimensional objects therefrom
Thermoset compositions and methods for forming three-dimensional articles via an additive fabrication process, and articles made therefrom are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, a composition comprises a first network-forming component comprising a first oligomer comprising a backbone and having at least 2 polymerizable groups, one or more first network monomers, and a first network initiator. The backbone of the first oligomer comprises a polyepoxide based on Bisphenol A, F, or S, a polyepoxide based on hydrogenated Bisphenol A, F, or S, a polycarbonate, or a polyimide. The composition may further comprise a second network-forming component.
System and method for manufacturing shellac floss
A system for manufacturing purified shellac floss from crude shellac includes a spinner unit, and a rotatable head with a cavity to accommodate the crude shellac. A microwave generator unit is configured to supply microwave radiation to the spinner unit. A collection unit has a side wall and an end wall defining an interior volume and is configured to collect the purified shellac floss.
Rosin presses and related methodologies
The following pertains to a horizontally-situated high capacity rosin press capable of applying heat and pressure in a chamber to extract and collect rosin from inserted plant materials. The extracted rosin is capable of being collected via gravity-induced drainage, eliminating the need for manual separation of rosin and remaining plant materials.

Capsular polysaccharide solubilisation and combination vaccines
Precipitated bacterial capsular polysaccharides can be efficiently re-solubilised using alcohols as solvents. The invention provides a process for purifying a bacterial capsular polysaccharide, comprising the steps of (a) precipitation of said polysaccharide, followed by (b) solubilisation of the precipitated polysaccharide using ethanol. CTAB can be used for step (a). The material obtained, preferably following hydrolysis and sizing, can be conjugated to a carrier protein and formulated as a vaccine. Also, in vaccines comprising saccharides from both serogroups A and C, the invention provides that the ratio (w/w) of Men A saccharide:MenC saccharide is >1.

Botanical Resin Extraction Apparatus
Apparatuses and methods are provided for use in the extraction of botanical resins from plant-based source materials. The apparatuses comprise a container operable to hold liquids. The container may be closed using a first lid. The first lid may comprise a center hole through which a whisk may be inserted and locked in place. The whisk is operable to rotate using a rotation mechanism and subsequently stirs the contents of the container. The rotation may be manual or motor driven. After stirring, the first lid is removed and a second lid is attached. The second lid may comprise an integrated mesh filter and a spout so that liquid contents of the container may be easily poured out.
