Polar silane linkers are provided that attach to resins to form silane-functionalized resins. The functionalized resins can be bound to hydroxyl groups on the surface of silica particles to improve the dispersibility of the silica particles in rubber mixtures. Further disclosed are synthetic routes to provide the silane-functionalized resins, as well as various uses and end products that benefit from the unexpected properties of the silane-functionalized resins. Silane-functionalized resins impart remarkable properties on various rubber compositions, such as tires, belts, hoses, brakes, and the like. Automobile tires incorporating the silane-functionalized resins are shown to possess excellent results in balancing the properties of rolling resistance, tire wear, and wet braking performance.
MINERAL OIL-FREE PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE
The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition containing at least one polymer and at least one polyester polyol based on betulin. The invention also relates to the use of the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to the invention, to a method for preparing the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, and to a method for bonding at least two substrates. Finally, the invention relates to an article comprising the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to the invention.
Adhesive coating composition for non-oriented electrical steel sheet, and method for manufacturing non-oriented electrical steel sheet
The present invention has been made in an effort to provide an adhesive coating composition capable of adhering (fastening) a non-oriented electrical steel sheet without using a conventional fastening method such as welding, clamping, or interlocking, a non-oriented electrical steel sheet stack to which the same is applied, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an adhesive coating composition includes: 40 to 99 wt % of a first component containing a water-soluble resin; and 1 to 60 wt % of a second component containing a composite metal phosphate.
Adhesive tapes
Adhesive tapes include a plasticized polyvinyl chloride backing, a primer including an ethylene/carbon monoxide-containing terpolymer and a styrene-containing block copolymer and an epoxidized polymer, and an adhesive.
RESIN COMPOSITION FOR TACKIFIER OR ADHESIVE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
Provided are a resin composition for a tackifier or an adhesive and a preparation method thereof. Provided is a resin composition for a tackifier or an adhesive, which includes a hydrogenated petroleum resin with a controlled hydrogenation rate to have excellent compatibility with polyolefin and to exhibit high transparency while having improved quality including adhesive property.
Self-adhesive composition for the bonding of substrates with low surface energy
A hot-melt adhesive composition comprises a mixture of silylated polymers, a tackifying resin and a catalyst, in specific contents, having self-adhesive properties after crosslinking to moisture. A self-adhesive article comprises a support layer and at least one self-adhesive layer obtained after crosslinking to the moisture in the adhesive composition according to the invention. The self-adhesive article can be used to bond low-energy substrates, in particular plastic substrates, notably thermoplastic substrates having low surface energy.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
Provided is an adhesive composition that is capable of forming an adhesive layer having excellent electrical properties (low relative permittivity and low dielectric loss tangent) and excellent adhesiveness (adhesion properties) after heat curing, can improve adhesiveness (adhesion properties) in a laminating step, can prevent the peeling and lifting of layers during temporary fixing and roll-to-roll work, also has a high crosslink density, and does not cause heat resistance, solvent resistance and the like to deteriorate. The adhesive composition contains a bismaleimide resin and a styrene-based elastomer.

ASSEMBLY FOR FUEL CELL, AND LAMINATED BODY
The invention provides an assembly for fuel cell which has an excellent adhesive force in the presence of hot water, and a laminated body which is used for the assembly for fuel cell. The assembly for fuel cell comprises an adhesive resin layer containing a polyolefin having at least one group selected from the group consisting of an acidic group and an acid anhydride group and having an acid value of 0.01 mgKOH/g to 6.5 mgKOH/g; and two or more members bonded with the adhesive resin layer interposed therebetween, wherein at least one of the members is a metal member having a ratio of a dipole term in surface free energy of 0.01% to 5.0%.
LAMINATE FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE AND ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE
Provided is a laminate for an electrochemical device that can advantageously be used as a device member having excellent low-temperature adhesiveness and blocking resistance. The laminate includes a functional layer containing heat-resistant fine particles and adhesive particles and a substrate. The adhesive particles contain an adhesive polymer that includes an aromatic vinyl monomer unit and a wax that has a melting point of lower than 95° C. In plan view of the laminate from a side corresponding to the functional layer, the functional layer includes an adhesion region formed of the adhesive particles and a heat-resistant region formed of the heat-resistant fine particles. The volume-average particle diameter of the adhesive particles is larger than the average stacking direction height of the heat-resistant region.
