To provide an adhesive tape that is difficult to deform, can suppress stickiness on the sides, and can reduce the emission of greenhouse gases while meeting the required characteristics of adhesive tape, such as adhesive strength and holding force, the present invention use an adhesive tape including a base material, which is a laminate with a backside layer formed on one side of a base fabric by lamination processing; and an adhesive layer disposed on the opposite side of the base material from the backside layer, wherein the backside layer includes a thermoplastic resin including polyolefin and the adhesive layer includes natural rubber, a wood-based filler, a plant-derived plasticizer and a tackifier.

The present invention relates to a two-component composition comprising: —a composition A comprising: —at least one reducing agent; —at least one (meth)acrylate monomer; —a composition B comprising: —at least one oxidising agent; and—optionally at least one (meth)acrylate monomer; the composition being characterised in that: —it comprises at least one radical photoinitiator in composition A and/or B; —it comprises at least one polymerisation inhibitor in an amount less than or equal to 0.3% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition.

Non-sticking tipping paper, preparation method and application method of the same

A non-sticking lip tipping paper is disclosed that includes a base paper, a color layer and a surface coating. The color layer is formed by printing and drying a color ink on the base paper; the surface coating includes a water-based glue and is coated thereon after drying the color layer. The water-based glue includes the following components by weight: 30-65 parts of a modified water-based resin solution, 10-20 parts of water, 8-15 parts of ethanol, and 5-12 parts of a water-based additive. The water-based additive is a mixture of a wax emulsion and magnesium silicate in a weight ratio of 1:5. A preparation method and a method of applying the non-sticking lip tipping paper are also disclosed.

Disclosed herein are pressure sensitive adhesive compositions that can include a styrene-butadiene rubber latex and a tackifier agent. In another example, the pressure sensitive adhesive compositions can include a styrene-butadiene rubber latex and acrylic polymer. The adhesive compositions can further include mineral oil and ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber. The pressure sensitive adhesives compositions can have a have low volatile organic compound vapor pressures while having effective adhesion properties on low surface energy substrates.

The laminate includes a functional layer containing heat-resistant fine particles and adhesive particles and a substrate. The adhesive particles contain an adhesive polymer that includes an aromatic vinyl monomer unit and a wax that has a melting point of lower than 95° C. In plan view of the laminate from a side corresponding to the functional layer, the functional layer includes an adhesion region formed of the adhesive particles and a heat-resistant region formed of the heat-resistant fine particles. The volume-average particle diameter of the adhesive particles is larger than the average stacking direction height of the heat-resistant region.

The face (2) comprises ethylene containing polymer and the adhesive (4) comprises pressure sensitive adhesive. The pressure sensitive adhesive comprises at least 15 wt. % of a base polymer, at least 25 wt. % of a tackifier and at least 10 wt. % of a plasticizer. The base polymer, the tackifier and the plasticizer are colourless and odourless. The base polymer is a polyolefin. The mechanically recyclable label (1) is mechanically recyclable with packaging material comprising ethylene containing polymer. The disclosure further relates to a label laminate (8), a method for manufacturing a label laminate (8), a labelled item (101), as well as to use of a label (1) and of a label laminate (8). The disclosure also relates to use of a waste matrix of the label laminate for producing granulates of recycled plastic.

The invention features hot melt adhesive compositions including from 50% by weight to 95% by weight of a non-single site catalyzed amorphous poly alpha-olefin copolymer derived from propylene and at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of butene and hexene and having a viscosity of no greater 10,000 cP at 190° C. and from 5% by weight to 45% by weight of a polybutene-1 polymer.

COMPOSITION FOR THE PROTECTION OF AN ARTICLE AGAINST CORROSION

This disclosure relates to a composition for the protection of an article against corrosion, wherein the composition comprises a blend comprising about 50 to about 99 wt. % of an amorphous polymer and about 1 to about 50 wt. % of a hydrocarbon wax, based on the total weight of the blend, the composition containing at least 30 wt. % of said blend, based on the total weight of the composition, wherein the amorphous polymer has a glass transition temperature T.sub.g of lower than about −20° C.; and the hydrocarbon wax has a melting point of about 35° to about 130° C. This disclosure also relates to a wrapping tape comprising a backing layer and a layer comprising the composition.
