Sand fixing agent
A sand fixing agent derived from palm tree frond comprises poly-(acrylamide) grafted carboxymethyl cellulose and a carbon alkanal.
Composite material for enriching natural sports playing fields
The invention herein provides a composite material suitable for the absorption of moisture in natural outside areas. More particularly, the composite material can be applied to both grassy and non-grassy natural areas to both absorb any excessive, apparent moisture therein and to also enrich the underlying earth of both grassy and non-grassy natural areas.
COAL GANGUE-BASED ECOLOGICAL RESTORATION MATERIAL, AND PREPARATION METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF
A coal gangue-based ecological restoration material, and a preparation method and an application thereof are provided. The coal gangue-based ecological restoration material is made from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 10 parts by weight of coal gangue; 0.5-1 parts by weight of an adhesive; 1-10 parts by weight of a plant fiber; and 1 part by weight of a fertilizer. The preparation method of the coal gangue-based ecological restoration material includes: primary crushing, primary heat treatment, primary cooling, secondary crushing, mixing and molding, secondary heat treatment, secondary cooling, mixing, and cooling and molding. The method uses the coal gangue as a main raw material to prepare the ecological restoration material, which can realize the effective utilization of the coal gangue and has good environmental protection, economic and social benefits.
FRICTION MATERIAL
A friction material including: a friction modifier: a binder: and a fiber base material, in which an alumina fiber is contained as the fiber base material, and a content of the alumina fiber is 0.1 mass % to 1.0 mass. The alumina fiber preferably includes Al.sub.2O.sub.3 and SiO.sub.2, and a chemical composition ratio of Al.sub.2O.sub.3 and SiO.sub.2 is preferably Al.sub.2O.sub.3:SiO.sub.2=70:30 to 80:20.
CONDITIONING COMPOSITION FOR OPTIMIZING SOIL OR SAND SURFACE CONDITIONS
This patent document provides a conditioning formulation or composition containing a rheology modifying polymer and optionally one or more of a dispersant, a thickener, a gelling agent, a glue or resin, a wetting agent, a buffer, an anti-foam agent, and soil amendments. Also disclosed is the use of the formulation for optimizing the soil or sand surface of a field.
SOIL EROSION PREVENTION AGENT EXCELLENT IN FREEZE-THAW STABILITY
The present invention provides a soil erosion prevention agent which is excellent in the freeze-thaw stability while maintaining the soil erosion prevention effect. When a toluene-insoluble matter of the water-borne resin emulsion is 60 mass % or more and a content of the water-soluble polymer in the soil erosion prevention agent is 1 to 7 mass %, preferably 3 to 5 mass %, the soil erosion prevention agent excellent in the freeze-thaw stability is provided and suitable for greening and a spraying material. The water-borne resin emulsion is preferably a resin containing a structural unit derived from vinyl acetate, or an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion.
Biopolymer composition for remediating degraded soils and for preventing soil erosion
The said biopolymer is derived from corn cob waste. The said biopolymer is of specific charge, size, and length, to facilitate aggregation, and create, or improve soil structure, and thus reduce and/or prevent soil erosion, and remediate degraded soils. The said biopolymer is of equal, or better efficacy (for the same dose) as polyacrylamide.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR ACCELERATED SOIL STABILIZATION
The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for accelerating soil stabilization using carbon dioxide.
