GENERATOR OF A VORTEX BRAID BROKEN UP INTO A SYSTEM OF TOROID VORTICES
20230130758 · 2023-04-27 ·

The invention relates to a generator and its operation and use for generating toroidal and spatial vortices in a liquid. It comprises a rotationally symmetrical stator housing with an inlet opening and an eccentric outlet opening. It further comprises a rotor rotatably arranged in the stator housing with radially outwardly extending channels in constant fluid connection to the inlet opening. The rotor comprises a rotor disc, radially outside of the rotor with a side surface with inner notches in fluid connection to the rotor channels. The stator housing comprises a stator disc comprising a side surface with stator notches. When these notches face each other due to rotation of the rotor disc, a periodical liquid flow from the inner notches to the stator notches is formed and toroidal vortices are generated in the portioned liquid by shear stress as the portions of liquid move back and forth in the notches.

The device for preventing the formation of paraffin and asphaltene sediments and for the reduction of the viscosity of crude oil for use at an eruptive oil well, an oil well with pumpjack or for use at a pipeline, the stated device including six identical serially connected modules. Each module has an inlet spout and outlet spout. Crude oil under pressure passes through modules and simultaneously is in contact with different alloys. The device's elements consist of four different alloys that affect the crude oil while it passes through modules under pressure in the manner that it prevents the formation of paraffin and asphaltene deposits inside the pipeline or eruptive oil wells or oil wells with pumpjacks.

Static coalescer, system and method therefor

A coalescence method and related system are disclosed herein. A multiphase dispersion feed comprising first and second liquids (i.e. where droplets of the first liquid (dispersed phase) are dispersed in the second liquid (continuous phase)) is passed through a static mechanical droplet-coalescer comprising a channel characterized by a plurality of in-series segments, each segment characterized by a segment-specific-characteristic obstacle size and having geometric features disclosed herein. In embodiments of the invention, the static mechanical droplet-coalescer promotes coalescence between droplets of first liquid to form larger droplets of first liquid. Subsequently, after the dispersion exits the coalescer, the larger droplets are easier to remove from the second liquid (continuous phase) than the smaller droplets that coalesced into the larger droplets.

System for producing hydrocarbons by high-temperature Fischer-Tropsch synthesis

A system for producing a hydrocarbon by high-temperature Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is described. The system includes a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis unit, a reaction water separation unit, and a catalyst reduction unit. The catalyst reduction unit uses a gas containing the tail gas of the synthesis unit as a reducing gas and a small amount of synthesis gas for adjusting the hydrogen to carbon ratio, to react with the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst. After the reduction reaction, the reacted gas is cooled to room temperature, and enters a gas-liquid separator to obtain a gas phase and a liquid phase. The gas phase flows to a cryogenic separation unit to recover gaseous hydrocarbons. The liquid phase is separated into reaction water and Fischer-Tropsch oil products. The reduced catalyst is sent to the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis unit.
