PERPETUAL CANDLE PRODUCT IMPLEMENTING A WICK AND OIL BURNING MECHANISM TO ALLOW FOR CONTINUED BURNING WITHOUT AFFECTING THE DESIGN FEATURE OF THE CANDLE PRODUCT
A “perpetual” candle product includes a container for storing an oil, a wick for drawing the oil from inside the container to an exposed end of the wick outside of the container, such that the tip of the exposed end of the wick can be ignited with a flame and the flame can continually burn so long as the oil in the container is replaced, and where a design feature is positioned outside the container and unlike a traditional candle the design feature does not burn or melt due to the flame on the wick, allowing the design feature (such as a wax rose, mimicking a real flower, or a wax cylinder, mimicking a traditional candle) to remain substantially intact despite prolonged and continuous burning of the candle product.
CANDLE WAX COMPOSITIONS STABILIZED WITH UV ABSORBERS AND SELECT HINDERED AMINE LIGHT STABILIZERS
A stabilized composition includes candle wax; an ultraviolet light absorber; and a hindered amine light stabilizer of formula (I). The compositions stabilize the candle with respect to yellowing, color fading in the case of dyed or pigmented candles, and other degradation of the waxes. The materials and compositions may be used in a wide variety of a candle waxes including, but not limited to, paraffin, beeswax, natural oils, polyamide plus fatty acids and esters thereof, fatty acids such as stearin, opacifiers, glycerides plus oxidized wax, alcohols, and ethylene oligomers.
WOODEN WICKS INCLUDING A BOOSTER FOR A CANDLE AND METHOD OF MAKING
A wooden wick for use in a wax candle comprising a strip of a predetermined wood having each of a first predetermined length, a first predetermined width and a first predetermined thickness. Such wick further includes a wood booster member having each of a second predetermined length, a second predetermined width and a second predetermined thickness adhered to the strip of wood.
USE OF VOLATILE COMPOSITIONS TO LIMIT OR ELIMINATE THE PERCEPTION OF MALODOR
The various aspects presented herein relate to the perfumery industry. More particularly, the various aspects presented herein relate to the use of volatile compositions to limit, decrease or eliminate the perception of malodor. Such compositions include at least one malodor antagonist optionally combined with perfuming ingredients. Such compositions, their use in combination with delivery systems and their applications in consumer products are also objects of the present disclosure.
WAX COMPOSITIONS FOR USE IN CANDLES AND METHODS OF PREPARING WAX COMPOSITIONS
A wax composition is disclosed, comprising at least 70% triacylglycerols, wherein the triacylglycerols comprise 0.5 to 50 wt. % of C22 fatty acid. A method of preparing a wax composition is disclosed. A candle comprising the wax composition and a method of preparing a candle are also disclosed.
REUSABLE CANDLE SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR
A reusable candle system allows a user to not create waste from single-use container candles while being safer. The molds have identical interiors to the candle inserts, therefore being able to create candles that fit perfectly into the inserts. The candle formed may be positioned in an insert having a wick stabilizer. The insert may then be placed in an exterior holder to protect the surface on which the candle is positioned upon and to protect a user from contact burns. Once the candle is depleted, the insert may be taken out of the exterior holder and cleaned and reused.
LIQUID CANDLE DYE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING LIQUID CANDLE DYE
A liquid candle dye and a method for producing liquid candle dye related to the field of dye technology are provided, wherein the liquid candle dye by weight comprises: 40˜80 parts of an oil-soluble dye; 30˜80 parts of a solvent; and 10-20 parts of an auxiliary agent. The method for producing liquid candle dye of which a preparation method is as follows is provided: step 1: preparing materials according to any one of claims 1 to 3; step 2: soaking the oil-soluble dye in the solvent to dissolve; step 3: putting a soaked mixture in step 2 into a stirring device for stirring and then filtering; and step 4: adding the auxiliary agent to a filtered mixture in step 3, stirring evenly, and then forming a finished product.
Consumer Products with Improved Aesthetics
A consumer product composed of ≤1% of a High-Performance fragrance composition and a consumer product active is provided. Use of reduced levels of the High-Performance fragrance composition provides for improved aesthetics such as improved clarity and viscosity, and reduced discoloration and caking.
