Oak alternative with internally built in connectors and modified bung to oak wine, beer, spirits, and other liquids
An apparatus for aging a liquid in a container includes: an elongated bung having a top and a bottom, the bottom having a male or female connector; and an elongated wooden piece having a longitudinal axis, an upper end, a lower end, and a side, the upper end having a male or female connector adapted to connect to the male or female connector of the bottom of the elongated bung, whereby the elongated bung and the elongated wooden piece are removably connected by connecting the male or female connector of the bottom of the elongated bung with the male or female connector of the upper end of the elongated wooden piece. The bung may have a first opening, a side with another opening, the first opening being fluidly connected to the another opening by a pathway adapted to transmit a gas from the container through the first opening.
CONTAINER FOR RAISING AND STORING LIQUIDS SUCH AS WINE
A container for raising and storing wine, which includes an external metal enclosure having at least one body in the overall shape of a hollow cylinder and a rear wall fixed to the longitudinal rear end of the body in order to close it off, an internal wooden enclosure that is able to contain the wine, including at least one body in the overall shape of a hollow cylinder and a front wall and a rear wall that close off the body in a leaktight manner, the internal enclosure being inserted into the external enclosure with a tight fit until the rear wall of the internal enclosure butts against the rear wall of the external enclosure, and clamping elements that exert a longitudinal force that tends to clamp the internal enclosure against the external enclosure.

Apparatus for regulating and controlling the level of food liquid in closed containers
An automatic apparatus for regulating and controlling the level of a liquid (1) in a tank (2) includes a liquid level detector (8). A vessel (3) associated with the tank (2) has a predetermined volume and is equipped with an upper closure (6) and with an open bottom (5) in communication with the interior of the tank (2) at a height below the level of the liquid (1). The automatic apparatus increases/decreases a liquid-free portion of the volume inside the vessel (3) and consequently transfers part of the liquid to/from the tank (2) through the bottom (5) in response to changes in the liquid level inside the tank (2) as detected by the liquid level detector (8).

BI-DIRECTIONAL VENT
A vent for selectively sealing an opening of an enclosed chamber includes a body, a first poppet, a second poppet, and a face seal. The body is configured to be coupled to the enclosed chamber. The first poppet is disposed within the body and is biased by a first biasing member. The first poppet includes a first surface. The second poppet is disposed within the body and includes a second surface. The second poppet is biased toward the first poppet such that the second surface is biased toward engaging the first surface. The face seal is positioned between the first surface and the second surface.
