Cell treatment apparatus and method for treating cells with lasers
The present invention is intended to provide a cell treatment apparatus and a method for treating cells that can suppress a variation of a treatment time of treating cells using laser light. The cell treatment apparatus of the present invention includes: a cell treatment chamber in which cells in a cell culture vessel are treated; an observation unit that can observe the cells; a laser projection unit that can project a laser image onto the cells; a laser moving unit that can move the laser projection unit; and a control unit. The laser projection unit includes: a laser light source; and a laser image generation portion that generates the laser image to be projected onto the cells from laser light oscillated from the laser light source. The control unit controls generation of the laser image by the laser image generation portion. By moving the laser moving unit from a projection start position of the laser image at one end of the cell culture vessel to a projection end position of the laser image at the other end of the cell culture vessel, the laser projection unit projects the laser image from the projection start position of the laser image at one end of the cell culture vessel to the projection end position of the laser image at the other end of the cell culture vessel.
METHOD FOR CREATING A MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
A method for generating a maintenance program for the operation of a maintenance system at a bioreactor, in particular a bioreactor of a vehicle for transporting persons, which method comprises at least the following steps, which are executed by an electronic data processing means associated with the maintenance system: acquiring system characteristics data of the maintenance system; acquiring reactor characteristics data of the bioreactor, the reactor characteristics data being received at least in part from a communication interface of the bioreactor; and generating the maintenance program at least on the basis of the system characteristics data and the reactor characteristics data.
BIOREACTOR CLEANING SYSTEM WITH AN ACID TANK AND A DEVICE FOR NEUTRALIZING THE ACID
A bioreactor cleaning system for cleaning a bioreactor in a rail vehicle. A suction unit, a supply unit, an electronic control unit for actuating the suction unit and the supply unit, an acid tank, a collection tank for receiving a liquid suctioned out of the bioreactor, and a freshwater connection are provided. The bioreactor cleaning system comprises a metering unit which has acid canister connections, base canister connections, an acid metering device which can be connected to the acid canister connections and the acid tank, and a base metering device which can be connected to the base canister connections and the acid tank. Additionally, a mixer is provided in order to mix the different liquids.
METHOD AND COMPOSITION FOR PULSE DOSE CLEANING OF PROCESS STREAMS
Pulse dosing is used to administer a cleaning formulation into a fluid process stream flowing through structural components of a processing facility. The fluid process stream may contain corn, corn-derived products, or a combination thereof, or the fluid process stream may contain a process condensate, a rinse fluid, a cleaning fluid or any combination thereof. The processing facility may be an ethanol processing plant, a protein processing plant, a corn oil processing plant, an ethanol and corn oil processing plant, an ethanol and protein processing plant, or an ethanol, corn oil and protein processing plant. Pulse dosing may include administering the cleaning formulation into the fluid process stream for a period of x seconds every y minutes, with no administration of the cleaning formulation between the periods of x seconds.
Micro algae harvesting methods and devices
The present invention relates to a particulate material separation assembly. It comprises a filtration membrane and an antifouling device. The antifouling device comprises one or more magnets and a plurality of magnetisable particles. The one or more magnets cause the plurality of magnetisable particles to self-assemble into dynamic bristles, thereby forming a brush. The particulate material separation assembly is particularly useful in the context of micro algae harvesting.
GENETICALLY MODIFIED CELL PRODUCTION SYSTEM
A genetically modified cell that can be mass-produced efficiently. The genetically modified cell production system includes a cell-processing isolator for seeding a T cell in a well plate (culture vessel) a cell culture incubator (cell storage) for holding the culture vessel in which the T cell has been seeded and culturing the T cell a virus-processing isolator (nucleic acid preparation isolator) for providing, to the well plate, a virus having a nucleic acid containing a gene to be introduced into a cell a virus storage (nucleic acid storage) for holding the well plate from the virus-processing isolator and a virus infection isolator (nucleic acid introduction isolator) for introducing the nucleic acid into the T cell by infecting the T cell with the virus.
ENZYME COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME FOR INDUSTRIAL CLEANING IN BIOMASS-BASED PROCESSING
Disclosed herein are embodiments of an enzyme composition for use in cleaning components of biomass-based processing. In some embodiments, the enzyme composition comprises a surfactant or is used in combination with a surfactant-containing composition. The enzyme composition can be administered to a process stream or directly to a process screen used in biomass-based processing to facilitate removing starch build-up on the process screen.
